Positive energy, always. Competing, always. Family, always. That’s how head coach Josh Heupel runs this program.

Best coach we have had since fulmer!!! This man is perfect for us and, if given the time, he will have us competing for the SEC championship. VFL

When Huep got here many were not thrilled and I just didn't know. Who knows if he will win big but we will not be a doormat. I'll guarantee that much. I believe he will win at a high level and I like him a lot. He cares about players and is comitted to winning.I like his personality and attitude. Glad he is the coach.

Hype won us our last championship at Oklahoma thanks to craftiness and a brutal D. He was masterful at covering all 12 positions.

It's still early to tell how successful he will be, there definitely have been positive signs or reasons for hope, but for first time in a long time it's a guy whos very likeable, genuine, and relatable.

Positive signs or reasons for hope? This guy, with 71 thin, in his first year, while under an NCAA investigation took the offense from 109th to a top ten nationally in scoring. This earning him clout with recruits. This almost never happens with a team in year one, let alone start getting blue chips committing in his second season. That's more than a positive sign, it's an absolute shock he was able to do this. The atmosphere to come play here has completely changed, and so has the attitude, with new swag. He's all the things you said and more..

I knew AD White's reputation for what he did at Buffalo U in NY. Living up there I saw locally how he brought that school up and the hires he made. I was really thrilled when AD White came here and I knew the no matter what, he'd get the guy TN needed, and maybe not who sports media figures told us we needed. TN needed a young fresh mind that knew the newer offensive schemes and uniquely ran his brand of it, with a resume to prove its success. White knew Josh's ability and why he had him at UCF. It only made sense to hire him away to TN. Like Mgtow, TN needed to go their own way in scheme, marketing, NIL and this coach couldn't have been a better choice. His young age is very relevant to the newer college football world. TN never really had that in recent memory. You have to go back to the days of the invention of the Wing T at TN. Yeah baby, the roaring 20's are back! LOL

Bro… we hired a young coach w an offensive mind in 2009 and he was gone by 2010
@gwhite71368 ай бұрын
@@coryhill1196 Who? If he were that good, we'd have been good in those years. Did we win 11 games? lol. I think Kiffin could have been good but Kiffin is NOT on the level of Heupel. He can some good things and lower schools like FIU or whatever that FL team was. But once he got to USC he fell flat on his face. Same at Ole Miss. I think it was more about Matt Coral than it was about his offensive mind. Great offensive minds do not have dips or gaps in their offensive talent and offensive rankings. They also don't need to tell players to take injury dives..lol They have faith in their offenses. He also never stays long enough at one place to learn much more beyond what he already knows about offensive coaching development. Dart still looks like garbage. Did he develop at all last year under Kiffin? Doesn't look like it. And where are the top ranked blue chip QB's wanting to go to Ole MIss to be tutiliged under Heupel? MIA is where they are. Heupel built elite offenses while recruiting in the 60's at UCF. And even when Kiffin was here for that one year, it wasn't close to how much TN moved up in offensive ranking from 2020 to 21. Nearly 100 ranking spots. Did we do that when Kiffin was here? Heupel even had to do it with far less talent on the team.
