if they said dont baton with it then why would they make a knife with that design

I guess before it's more of a "fighting" blade than a woods tool, and it has a more fine tip

Really gotta question a knife maker that's scared to have his knives batoned. I don't baton myself but it is a great test to check if it's heat treated good. Especially a knife that size should have no problems. I understand making a fighting knife just what good would it be nowadays? A $20 tramontina will baton and chop all day and night.

I just think it's because it's not made for tasks like that, I have a bolo from him as well that he said I can go wild on. Maybe some day I'll do a video on it.
