Hi Jane Hi Joe what a very interesting chat. I am still not eating animals and enjoying it. Black rice is a main staple with me with loads of the green trees as my Grandchildren call them. I bet the first little dog is on tiktok infact I think they all should be on Brittons got talent. I always say insurance is legalised theft. Keeping the lower paid members of our society under paid keeps the top cats in there shiny castles, keeps our society divided thus they can conquer us. I am getting my lock down gain under control after meeting with 2 consultants I am finally allowing 1 of them to operate on my knee so I need to be in tip top condition I have opted for keyhole surgery although I was first told I need a new knee I asked for a second opinion and yes he said you need a new knee but we can offer you alternatives. OhJane &Joe brill pod cast. Totally agree with you about penalising people because of circumstances. You would have thought with the insurance that being un emplyed they could lower the premiums, the world just is not fair. Take Care both xx

Hi Jane. Really enjoying your podcasts. I agree, some of the SW guidelines seem a bit odd. I still don't understand why it's OK to have couscous with veg, but having with fruit is a tweak. And I don't get the competition side. For me, the amount of weight lost doesn't represent your journey. I think of syns as a kind of money too, just a shame there's never a sale lol! I knew paella meant pan, no idea how, I do remember some useless information sometimes lol! I get how you feel about paying through the nose for accessible gadgets, etc. I've had my sight impairment since birth so I don't know a different way of living, but I still get resentful of it sometimes. Like during lockdown and I didn't want to use public transport or taxis, I was annoyed I couldn't drive. I only started claiming PIP a couple of years ago, I assumed I wouldn't be entitled because I work, I didn't know it wasn't means tested. That's what I get for assuming lol! Hope you are well, looking forward to your next blog. X

I love this Jane & Joe, so funny about the dogs, What a rip off for a Microwave, and well that insurance i can't believe it, no wonder people drive a round with none, I insurance for less miles last year and this and it has brought the price down, because we don't use it that much see you soon take care love Jackie x

Could Joe sit a bit closer to the microphone as I can’t always catch what he is saying ? Really enjoyable and interesting. Be careful as the Uncle Bens sweet chilli pouched rice has fish oil in so NOT vegan, I made that mistake for my vegan daughter !

really appreciate your feedback. We bought proper podcasting equipment with dual stereo microphones as we thought this would improve on the May podcast quality. Very oddly, Joe was sitting closer to the microphones than I was. It’s all recorded in stereo so when we play it back through our Yamaha speakers, Joe comes out of the left speaker and I come out of the right one. I think it might depend on what you’re playing it back on and the fact that I am naturally much louder than Joe. He is very quietly spoken. When we record on the Canon vlogging camera, as he is just behind the camera, it picks him up louder than me as I’m a distance in front of it. We’ll bear in mind what you’ve said and hopefully he will be clearer next time. Thanks for your support. Much love Jane xx

Really enjoy these podcasts Joe and Jane. I think any slimming club should accept you as long as you are not below your healthy BMI. You might want to join as a preventative measure, to learn to have a healthy diet and not put weight on. I also like jasmin rice. There are so many lovely rices out there apart from white and brown. I've never had a talking microwave, but I did notice the price of them. Mine just has 2 dials and is so easy to use. So glad you carried on with the podcast idea. It's really lovely to just hear you both chatting. Take care and have a lovely weekend. Shell X
