The Jungle Book (Sega Genesis) (All Gems) (Hard Difficulty)

Walkthrough of Jungle Book for Sega Genesis / Megadrive. Played on Hard difficulty settings. All 15 gems have been collected on every stage.
Differences between Hard and Normal difficulty:
- Less starting time on Hard difficulty
- Less health on Hard difficulty
- Enemies take more damage on Hard difficulty
- No compass on Hard difficulty
- You need 12 Gems to pass a level instead of 10 Gems.
Technically you don't need to collect every gem in order to beat the game. Collecting all 15 Gems opens a bonus stage, where you can get an extra life. Although there's plenty of extra life scattered around the levels which makes it easy to beat the game even on Hard difficulty.
Each stage has one or two gems hidden behind foreground. You have to practice on normal and memorise every such gem location if you want to get them all. Otherwise feel free to explore a stage at your own leisure.

​@@j.d.-ez1od Google "jungle book genesis ROM" and you'll find tons of different sites that allow you to download the game. Then you simply download and install a Genesis emulator and then open the ROM file in the emulator. Simple.

@j.d.-ez1od I don't know if you need it anymore, but roms of old console games, as well as emulators, are quietly on the Internet. You can even play something through the browser. It seems like it's possible, I haven't tried it. Of the sites with roms, I can recommend WoWroMs.

Kaa’s attacks are very hard to avoid. Without knowing about the shield power up, we had a very hard time defeating him. I would always just use double bananas and attack him furiously until he drops

I prefer Genesis version of this game so much more than SNES. SNES has all the effects, fancy animations and etc. But it still looks bad to me. Genesis version is more... how to explain... feels more natural, more real :D I feel like Im actually in this jungle cartoon. Also it is more fun to play.

@VIVEK MALHOTRA You need to download "Fusion Sega Genesis Emulator" and "Jungle Book Sega Genesis ROM". Use 7zip to extract both emulator and ROM. Open Fusion, click File -> Open Genesis / 32X ROM -> select Jungle Book ROM file in file browser (usually .gen, .bin, .smd extension; supports .zip archives as well). Click Options -> Set Config -> Controllers (Tab) -> Define to set up controls.
