For those wondering why the Judge didn't go against the in-laws, well the plaintiff wasn't suing them. All she wanted was the court to help her find the man who impregnated her and make him provide for his child. The court is not a father Christmas, the court can only grant you reliefs that you seek. Otherwise, the Judge could be accused of descending into the arena of Justice. The lady could go back and sue her in-laws for what is rightfully hers and the court will ensure she gets justice. Kudos to the Justice Court.

@@YA-xj1fc Judge Funmi is acting in the capacity of MEDIATING DISPUTES in civil matters brought to this court (notice the key word "mediation"). She does not have the authority to prosecute anyone here, especially when the litigant is not officially bringing a case against them. If the litigant so wishes, she can take the case to a traditional court for prosecution of the inlaws. Judge Funmi has been charitable here while staying within the limits of her job. As usual, she shows no sentimental bias yet, is compassionate and just.

This situation doesn't make sense in terms of that Ayodeji. Immediately you smell trouble from someone, get as much record as you can. And apart from trouble, don't move about with someone you have zero information about, and who nobody around you has zero information about, especially with small children. Are you sure this woman is well? What about that her friend that she told of her pregnancy while they were staying in the uncompleted building? What about the place she followed that man to for a party? What about the woman she used to stay with before that man proposed to help her? Couldn't she have told her about the man so that somebody knows her whereabouts and who she was following to go with? What about the times she saw him, she couldn't pretend general friendship and collect his contact? She couldn't make noise so passersby can witness see this man take his photo he is responsible for my condition etc. She did nothing at all. How could the court proceed to find him?
