This is what my mum and siblings did to me, land and money I send to them to help me get land and build a house and the ones I gave her to help me save in her account because before I left I didn't have an account, all is gone for nothing upon all the money I spent on them, pay bills, took them out of the village, pay rent and hospital bills anytime they have issues, pay my kids fees alone without assistance. The government is the reason poverty is so rampant in Nigeria. Education and healthcare should be free. When a country invests in it's people it will prosper. Sometimes, the pressure of problems can lead some people to do things they would not otherwise do. When a woman is on the streets and her child is sent home from school for not paying school fees, and she has some money with her (even though not hers), it takes a lot of self control not to do what she did. Its easy to judge when one has not been there. She did wrong but I can understand her plight.

I really feel for both parties because the lady became remorseful. probably Nigeria should start a behavioral class for all citizens and this should extend to the junior and high school and adult education school too. this issue of someone trusting you to hold their money for them and then you diverting the money to personal use, is becoming a trend on this channel. the offenders do not really understand how much wreck they have done to the plaintiff until they are taken to court. I really hope Nigerian leaders are watching this channel and they are hoping to implement this change. Thank you Judge Funmi for the wisdom you always apply on these issues.
