Supergirl, Donna Troy, Jessie Quick, that was basically the new generation leading the League. - The JL joining only when something big happens/and event sound interesting, then have Mark Waid writing what they did meanwhile

My solution is kind of DC’s solution, you don’t need an ongoing just have every major company cross over Justice League: …, let people read the books they like and when there is a big cross over they know which extra book to grab as the meat of the cross over and the event title is all the tie-in to look out for

You guys talking about the titans graduating to the league gave me a very sudden idea for a lineup. No clue if it has any potential or sauce but to pitch: - Nightwing - Supergirl (the current incarnation, post Woman of Tomorrow) - Starfire - Cyborg - the flash (Wally ofc) - GL (Kyle Rayner) - Connor Hawke (as green arrow or otherwise). I feel like theres fun dynamics in there. Wally, Connor and Kyle work already as a trio dynamic within the team (like how Bb and cy worked as a duo in the TT cartoon), Supergirl and Nightwing can continue their excellent bickering dynamic from worlds finest as co leaders, but then have someone more emotionally in touch who can relate to both of them like Starfire (Supergirl also lost her home and is an alien on earth! She could develop something interesting w/ star that's still different to kory's relationship to say, Donna) who can act as the glue that allows the two of them to efficiently Co lead. Vic is great and I'd love to see him interact w/ characters like Conner and Kara. It's not perfect (still don't know what stories would be best, where the other titans and Leaguers are in this scenario and it could probably have more diversity or a better gender balance, still better than the og 7 tho, if that's a concern for you) but I like the idea!

My favourite eras of Justice League are Grant Morrison and Brad Meltizer When they bring Justice League I want Wally as Flash, Jessica as Green Lantern, Vixen, Adam Strange and Dr Light on the team. Team can have a rotating roster, check areas of the DC Universe rarely explored lately (Skartaris, Markovia, Bialyia, Pokalistan etc) and build up the big bads while focusing on often forgetten villains (when was the last time Kanjar Ro was used)

I feel the big push towards people saying "Just do JLI!" is as a direct result of people trying & failing to recapture what Morrison did in the comics, and what Timm/Dini/McDuffie did in the cartoons. But also I think he JLI nostalgia has more to do with 52 than it does the JLI books. If I was DC I'd make a Krakoa-like interconnected Justice League room. In which you have all the team books feeding into each other. So Justice League, JL Dark, Titans, The Outsiders, maybe one or two more. Allows for a cohesive sensation whilst allowing the individual books creative freedom to do whatever.

They tried that and fans hated it. As you said justice league dark was amazing. I liked the Detroit team with lesser characters. The big guns mean everything has to be an event.

i would say part of the problem is that the big guns make it into an event but that's not the only problem. the other problems are, the league don't act like a tight friend group, they act like coworkers, they are the ICONS = HAVE to act professionally, they don't get to unwind with one another, they don't help each other deal with their personal problems within the book, and the characters are islands to themselves that don't need one another. when it comes to non main line members of the justice league teams, writers can give them more leeway of them not ALWAYS acting all professionally and like coworkers: like a JLI, JLD, and JLO.

I’d like it if the Justice League had some smaller adventures, less end of the multiverse level stakes, maybe a rotating cast to spice things up, and for them to show the League as friends, with good character moments.

I agree with the notion that the league don't act like friends but coworkers. they are clocking in to save the world from a big bad guy and clocking out to go home when they are done. writers should have the league help each other with their own personal problems; they shouldn't ALWAYS act all professional all of the time, because when they do act professionally, they have this air of superiority to them. we need to see them unwind with one another. one of the reasons why i love taylor's titans run so much, because they help with each other deal with their personal problems and they act like a tight friend group - when they unwind within the team.

I'm going to go off the reservation and suggest this might be the perfect oppurtunity for that obsuce book from the 90's "Adventures of the DC Universe" to come back. Anyone remember that? It ran for about 9 issues and was set in the same timeline as the Batman Adventures comic book and the animated series. It was its own thing and was published about a decade before JLU aired on television. it didn't have legs then, but with the amount of reverence and nostalgia that people have now for the DCAU as well as DC's desire to reboot the universe every couple of years, why not include this?

I agree with the idea that pushing the League back up would tarnish the Titans. I’m actually dreading the day Nightwing screams with angst “we were supposed to be you, but we’re not you!” I think a nice compromise would be keeping Titans on top, and maybe making Justice League a covert operation, maybe dropping them on other planets with clear ways of tipping the balance of corruption back.

Yall really went in on dc this week haha im a fan of everything they did this year and i couldnt disagree with yall more haha and i love it. For me being a reader here and there things acrually feel like their progressing stories are fun and although id love to see more of the titans i am getting a book of them so couldn't really ask for more. Of course id be excited when the justice league does come back and it would for it to make sense have to be if the titans are like somebow taken of the table so now the trinity has to go save their former sidekicks

In terms of Tom Taylor being too precious and letting the book spread new wings, I think the cartoon was a perfect example of respecting the old stories while doing its own thing, and maybe an approach like that would work for Gen Zs like me

Could ever see the channel cover the newest 12 issue wildcats book? I think by the end it neatly places the characters in the DC universe and explaining the kind of general archetypes where the wildcat characters belong in the DC universe. I personally enjoyed seeing Amanda Waller triggering Marlowe's paranoia as a fellow black ops leader.

Have the team operating from a Watchtower in "the Bleed." With Captain Multiverse being their monitor on high level threats and her and Batman and the others make the team based off of whomever they feel will be of the most help for that particular problem. So, yes it's a little like JL Unlimited just with a small twist. Joshua Williamson is rather busy right now with other books but I'd like to see him give it a try.

The solution is to have the Justice League be like in the Justice League United cartoon. In my preferred version of the Justice League, every super/meta/vigilante who is seen as a hero is a member. In addition to bringing heroes together to fight bigger villains, it provides a venue for them to socialize, train, and share insights into the heroing business. For much of their history, the big hitters were not in every JL story, because they were busy with their own problems.

I will admit the Justice League episodes on ComicPop are my least favorite and I loved the show very much! I think the characters are not as interesting outside the big 3. I am a massive Batman fan but Ultimate Spider man is the best on ComicPop. I think it’s because of Sals passion for it is contagious 😊

I personally only enjoy the big JL stories, give me runs like Morrison, Johns, or Snyder. I also I really don’t care for the Titans characters, they just seem inherently B+. They have too much baggage like Joel said they have diehard fans and creators tend to appeal to them. I’m also surprised with all the John Stewart love, I truly find him the least interesting of all the human lanterns. I want more of Baz and Cruz, loved their rebirth book! Love the show guys, thought you’re social media tributes to Benny were were beautiful

I think it would be cool if they went more in the direction of the cartoon. Batman Superman and Wonder Woman are part timers and only really come in for “Superman level” threats like Joel suggested. I also think they should have given more Titans a solo series. Maybe a Beast boy and Raven book, a Cyborg book, and a Starfire mini. Kori seems like a character that can’t really carry a full series on her own she works best pared with other characters. Maybe a Starfire and Raven book

i mean we had the 4 issue mini-series call tales of the Titans, before tom taylor's run. I don't like the idea of that the titans characters like raven, cyborg, beast boy, donna and starfire having their own runs. you lose the effect of having a titans book in the first place. the point of the titans is that they are all best friends and want to hang out with each other - to help deal with their personal problems and the problems of the world. in reading tom taylor's titans run, that run has the team actually act like a tight friend group that NEEDS one another. the same time, you want to see their adventures and how they bounce off with one another in their interactions. with how playful they are to one another, you want to read more about them. so if titans characters, besides nightwing and wally west, get their own solo titles, you lose the point of having the titans in the first place. they would start to look like the justice league characters; in that, they are islands to themselves in dealing with their personal issues. most of the time justice league runs don't deal with the team helping one another with their personal issues - why would they, when they have their own solo titles for that. it's not just about punching out the big bad of the day but about how the character interactions, helping a team member with their personal issues, and playful banter.

Sal is probably right about them having the Titans fight the JL. But you don't have to. The JLA and JSA had annual team ups way back when and they would always be respectful of one another- with the occasional argument between certain characters- they'd defeat the villains/ threat and then go their separate ways. That's really all they need to do.

You have half the equation for Spider-Man down. Yes, get him to write the book for a while, but then have him become an editor for a little while. Brining in anew writer, no matter how talented, is a patchwork. You need someone get things heading in the correct direction, and making sure future writers are set up to succeed.

The fact the Titans didn't move into the Hall of Justice or their version of the Hall told me they didn't graduate. It wasn't that the Titans stepped up but that the League disbanding meant the standard was lowered. If you remove the lip service about them replacing the league it's just a Titans book. That's were I left because I have read enough Titan books.

Just make the Justice League what it was originally. A showcase for characters that can’t carry their own books. And rotate heroes in and out based on necessity of the story or enemy.

They need a soft reboot, bring in the heavy hitters, or just use the cartoon team, Snyder had a good idea. Just use the cartoon team, get a good creative team, and leave them alone. Have them fight a big threat familiar threat for the first story arc. Make it Darkseid, Injustice League, Crime Syndicate would be fun. Market the shit outta of it, and you have a good following. How many people read Snyder's JL purely becuz it had the cartoon team?! Mostly everyone?

I have never been a fan of the justice league. Most of the stories felt boring to me. I would jump on the occasional arc, but I never stayed on. I will say I love a fair amount of other JL teams, just not the main one.
