Everyone has their time. Their rantings aren’t what they used to be and I’m sure most of their followers are bought. 🤷🏾♀️

Sharney it’s really interesting you say that because someone else said the same to me... yes they get millions of likes, but for how many followers they have you would expect more 🤔. Instagram will purge all the fake followers again soon so we shall see!

Parents should have discussions about body image, self esteem, suicide , gun violence etc with their children (male and female) before they have a crisis.

I do NOT follow them and have zero interest to. They are not genuine or authentic in my opinion and I would rather not put my time or effort into following them on social media.

The London Curls lol...I prob see their face once or twice a week and I just keep on scrolling or flicking channels! I just don’t get the hype about them 🤷🏽♀️

Same, I dont have any social media and if I did I definitely wouldn't follow them. Even discussing them irks me I wish people wouldn't, its more attention than they deserve.

This world is twisted up. The people that do the least for humanity’s well-being and raising consciousness get paid the most and are revered. How do we change it? I belong on a different planet I am sure.

Tracy trust me, same. Researching all the facts for this video was honestly so depressing because the world has literally gone insane. We’ve gone down a very dark path and I really don’t know what one thing would change everything for the better..

100 % agree with you girl..they are the biggest negative influence online atm. I wish young girls would have more interest in something more educational than the kardashians.

I love this... you're so real, especially how you're not trying to shade on women, but question the "self-made" aspect. Please make more videos like this. Seriously love your vibe xx

I don't know much about them but like you say it's unavoidable if you're on social media. I found this really interesting. And what I've noticed is how we've seen this even influence other celebs too. It's crazy when you sit down and look at it all like this. Looking forward to your next video, enjoying these topical chats from you. 😊☕️

Miss London Curls, I think you are Amazing and an excellent role model for young girls around the world. You replied to my last comment a while ago on one of your last videos. I personally appreciate your good work and PLEASE continue making GREAT Videos.

Thank you so much for this video and all the information you’ve included! I definitely love how you included facts and are making valid points about the changes in society. I can say they have made negative and positive affects for people but so think it really worries me about the younger generation who aspire to look like them. I’m 27 and when I was in high school obviously trends were different but I just wanted to look beautiful naturally and have fun with my friends. I watched plenty of shows from Lizzy McGuire to Sabrina the teenage witch and that so raven and never felt like I had to look like the characters. Times have changed and I only hope that we can build each other up as women and influence kids as much as possible to love themselves as they are. (Not saying people who get surgery don’t love themselves) however it takes a strong person to accept there flaws and be truly grateful for what the have and proud of who they are. Thank you for sharing this video ❤️

Very interesting topic! I would hear their names but didn’t know much about them or how much influence they actually had in society. I thought it was also a great point you made about them being declared as “self made” millionaires. I thought you did great presenting the information you researched. Thank you for the education.

Will you post videos again? Love your content: the social commentary and the hair!

On "cultural appropriation", though annoying ( because black girls used to be told their hair wasn't appropriate or pretty or professional in these styles), I suppose it now makes it generally more widely appreciated. Maybe. Sad though in this day and age that we still have this stuff.

i really dislike the impact they have on young girls in an era where we should all be celebrating individuality and our differences! They’ve obviously had surgery my nanna’s from Sierra leone and didn’t have a bum like that! Urgh just urgh anyway excellent video again ❤️

Really interesting conversation. One thing I have noticed is how people say people of faith shouldn't teach or influence their children. Yet...🤔 Perhaps, there is much more behind the scenes...

I’m white and I’ve had a big butt my whole life .... every woman in my family has a big butt!! Even my blonde hair blue eye grandmother had a tiny waist and big butt and Boobs when she was my age. I don’t care who did it or how they did it. I’m just happy that butts are cool finally. Because when I was in high school it was not cool or considered hot. The Paris Hilton’s were idolized when I was in grade school. Just happy their are more forms of beauty being represented.

Thankfully I can confidently say the Kardashians and similar barbie-celebs (not intended as an insult, just 'put together'/image based' celebs) don't have a direct effect on me and my life choices. >never watched their shows or followed their lives, but i hear bits and pieces from people who do< But the people who are a by-product of their existence, their words and their image leaks down the vine and probably has indirectly influenced something I've done. But I am concerned at how it's leading people into a spiral ~ And i don't get why they're famous either. I but their fame sub-fuels their success which is why they keep their fame going.
@TheLondonCurls6 жыл бұрын
Sha・Ne・Ru yes, their fame is constantly being refuelled so there’s no chance they’ll be going away any time soon! It’s good you’ve had no direct influence from them; it’s just a shame so many people do!

How is it "cultural appropration" for white women to wear box braids, but totally acceptable for black women to wear white women's hair as weaves and wigs? Is it also "cultural appropriation" for us to eat tacos and lasagna? "Cultural appropriation is yet another manufactured term used to cause people to be offended and divided. I have a genuine love for all cultures and nations of people...I enjoy being able to gleen from them all.

We have always had insecurities and body ideals and beauty ideals but now there is no more subcultures like there used to be but everyone looks the same and girls are acting sexually earlier and earlier. There is prob only a good thing, most of these teens won't regret their past looks as they already looked perfect 😂. But ofc most of them changes after they turn 20 something I reckon. But I personally think this trend is bad for women too as the guys actually expect everyone to look sexy and perfect. But then again rappers are in too atm so many young guys who doesn't belong into the "sexy and cool box". This is also due to Kardhasians I think. But this trend has to be over one day, trends change every decades so let's hope the next trend is something else than just one type of the beauty idea. Edit: Also I've seen this mixed children thing happening in Australia. White girls post memes that they don't wanna have sex with white guys etc. But no one is really talking about the black women... Must be the Kardashian Effect too I guess.
