I've got two SA 90s in the cellophane. Seeing that photo of the tape makes me feel like uploading a blank side, forty five minutes of almost inaudible hiss, and just a vid of the tape going round. It's truly surreal that in the fifties, before the tape recorder was even invented, avant garde composers were doing tape pieces, most obviously " I Am Sitting In A Room ", ( just looked it up, actually 1969 - nobody's perfect ... ) , whereas now avant garde " pop " musicians are using tape because it's obsolete. I've recently bounced a few Boots cassettes from fifty years ago, they sound the same as they did then.
