Mr. Mike, Do you do any work in southeast GA? You're work is magnificent. You truly listen to what the customer wants, and you sometimes add your own personal touch to it to make it even better! I love the work you do, home building, and interior design is what I love watching on KZbin, especially your channel. Please give me a response back to any information with that. Thanks so much and continue the great work!

I have a question. How did you do the stone wainscot over the brick? I thought it was thinbrick on top of the stone veneer at first but the edges around the windows make the brick look full depth, so I was wondering how you install stone veneer over top of the full depth brick?

Thank you Colette for your kind words. That's a great idea to put the plans at the end. I think we will see about incorporating that. I have lots and lots of ideas and hopes for this KZbin channel and our website. The only problem is not this home building operation requires massive amounts of time and energy so only a little bit of time gets put into the videos 🙂

Mike Palmer Homes, Inc. ... I’m not saying go back, I’m saying future walk throughs. Do you have to adhere to hurricane regulations? Just curious how far inland they go. When hubs retires, we’d like to move down south (from Chicago). Originally thinking St. Augustine, Florida, but I do like the mountainous areas of the Carolinas.

Dear Mike, You're welcome, thank you for your great videos, I'm a new subscriber! I knew you weren't doing that handsign intentionally & you didn't offend me but nowadays that handsign is known for allegiance to satan the adversary. I'm a spiritual person & not everybody is & I believe things happen for a reason, everything has meaning & purpose in this life. I've learned from experience not to play with dark symbolic things because dark malevolent energy will follow you around. I'm just trying to advice you brother because there exists good/positive & bad/negative energy in this world. You've got awesome houses with amazing detail & I very much admire & respect your work! May God Bless & Protect You & Your Family Always, In Jesus Christ Name. 🙏😇

I wonder how lattice work would look over the x braces on the deck... have you all ever done that? Would it look better than just the xs?
@MP-cz8bp5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I used to own a deck and screen porch company :-). We have used lattice extensively. I disagreed with the building inspector on the need for the X braces as the porch is in a corner and attached on two sides. Unfortunately, he didn't care that much about my opinion. I would rather not have had them there.

This house has a lot of great features. However, I would not build on a lot that does not slope away from the house. I pray that the little driveway drain can handle torrential rain.
@carolinabeauty135 жыл бұрын
Geraldine Fields you’d be surprised how many homes in this area have an even steeper slope going down to the house. I’m from here and there are so many homes like this.

Hey Sherry, Thank you for your commentary. It's a good point. We actually are building a house now with two master suites and a zero curb shower for a client that has a relative with mobility issues. Almost everything we do is custom. Stay tuned, the video is coming out soon. 🙂

Two rooms and two baths up stairs. The bedrooms are a bit too small downstairs also. Could you utilize the un needed dining room up front to make the bedrooms larger? Anyway.
