The 1960s began as such a youthful, beautiful and idealistic decade...which ended tragically. The Kennedys symbolized the beautiful, tragic spirit of that decade.

The image of Jackie walking behind her husband’s coffin next to her brother in law Sen Ted Kennedy is such a haunting and epic image. She looks so sad but also beautiful. That family has had so much tragedy. Too much for one family to bear. May they all Rest In Peace.

Did they cheat on their wives? I doubt they would have had the time, not to mention being constantly surrounded by people and being flat out doing their demanding jobs. They were no longer alive to defend themselves when these stories came out. These stories were circulated to tarnish their reputations in a desperate effort to quell the ongoing grief and anger of the American public, who demanded answers to their senseless deaths. Their murderers underestimated the outrage and had to take the heat off somehow.
