Thanks a million for the videos. What map or book would you recommend to bring along? Or none?

I think I used the Rucksack Readers (waterproof?) one but can't fairly compare with others. But it was spiral bound so I could take out the pages I needed to keep weight down! The route was so well signposted could probably do without but always like reading up on stuff beforehand too and get the route into my head and what to expect

that's great, don't know if its the same for you but I find once I've bought the guide book I'm pretty much guaranteed to go! Better be careful what books I buy then 🤣

@@endorphins479 I'm afraid it's a bit too late now. I buy stuff years ahead for plans 🤣. Thanks to your video's it's a multi day run on the Kerry Way and my left eye saw something about the Dingle Way. And my right eye is curious if there are trails and Ways in Scotland. I bought a 20l running pack last week, so practically I'm good to go...

I did the nite this year but hoping to do the full next year. I tried Drung hill yesterday but turned back before it rounded the corner. Does the lane get much narrower after that?
@endorphins4792 жыл бұрын
Hi Patricia - I don't remember the lane ever getting particularly narrow. Are you concerned that it gets a bit exposed with the steepness? If so I'm not the best dealing with heights but it never crossed my mind as an issue whilst running there (or any part of the route)
@patriciahannon44442 жыл бұрын
@@endorphins479 exactly, it was the height and how exposed it was, it's Drung hill. Will go back soon, thank you 🙂
