Could you do a more detailed explanation about the squeaking noise? Mine does exactly what you’re describing. I didn’t know if I should lube it but it felt like it was only the thumb switch doing it, like getting stuck or rubbing on something. I’d like to do the same thing, I’d really appreciate if you could illustrate what you did. Ironically there’s now a Kershaw livewire with an Ultem grip on one side and you can see all the inner parts work as you actuate the blade.

Microtech is about to come out with their “ZERO BLADEPLAY” series of knives. They will be out by Christmas. Buy an Ultratech Gen 3 or Atreus and stop 😂

Yeah, it sounds really cool. Though I still like the Kershaw blade shape, the fact that it's Magnacut, the handle, and the user-servicability. Maybe Kershaw can invent ZERO BLADEPLAY!?
