Fire video! 🔥 1 quick thing. You don’t have to use ghost notes to make an 808 stop if you go to the Volume envelope of the 808 and turn down the Delay, Attack, Decay, Sustain & Release all the way and turn up the Hold all the way. Then drag the note on piano roll as long as you want it to play. It will stop as soon as the note ends.

sometimes it’s really about the fun and creativity when making the beats, maybe these aren’t worth sending to artists but making what you love is essential. Now don’t get me wrong, we all want placements. But sometimes the feeling of making these beats don’t even have placements involved just the love of the craft. I would agree that artists would like more simpler beats as well!
