For those who can't afford Davinci, you can do that in blender compositer. You can do all sorts of color grading, editing the different render layers, adding mist or fog in the scene using compositer. The only downside is that it is a bit difficult to do in blender.

FYI: Ice cubes are really just penguin dookies. Just like there are squirrels running on hamster wheels in your car's engine bays, there are peguins doing their business in your freezer so that you can have a chilled beverage on demand. I spent the first 35 years of my life in Alaska, and you nailed the look! :)
@KevBinge2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Land Shark! I appreciate it. I’d love to go to Alaska. There is such an amazing wilderness there. Funny story... on the engineering panel of the set of Star Trek TNG, there is was a hamster wheel in main engineering. It was too small for the cameras to pick up, but I’ve seen it close up lol.
@Land-Shark2 жыл бұрын
@@KevBinge That's awesome! I'm an OG Trekkie, and even attended the first Alaska Star Trek Convention in the winter of 1974 when I was 8-years old, which was about 25 people gathering at the TV station that aired Star Trek. Walter Koenig was supposed to be the guest star but the weather was too bad for the planes to land (not all commercial jets were equipped with the proper radar needed to land in bad weather back in those days), so he didn't make it. We were bummed out, but we watched a couple of Star Trek episodes and chatted about all things Trek for a couple of hours. I'd love to see some of the sets and props from all of the various Trek series. Cool stuff! :)
@KevBinge2 жыл бұрын
That’s really cool! I think they started using FLIR after that but I’m not sure that helps land... I’ll have to ask my pilot friend about that haha! I’d have loved to go to a ST convention just for the fun of it. It’s a great world Gene created. I wonder how much they’ve picked up with later generations. Being behind a paywall doesn’t help, but I liked Picard for the most part... Nothing beats the original with a real crazy dialog between Bones and “the green-blooded Vulkan.” Hahahaha!!
@Land-Shark2 жыл бұрын
@@KevBinge I enjoyed the Picard series, and have really liked the Discovery series, too. Good story arcs, likeable characters and REALLY good fx! :) Someone who annoys you when you're trying to remain calm is a Spock-blocker. :)
@KevBinge2 жыл бұрын
Haha! Spock-blocker! I’m slowly moving through Discovery now and enjoying it. It took me a bit to realize where it sits on the timeline because everything looks so futuristic comparatively to even Enterprise. I was shocked haha. Picard has the Borg and I really like that storyline. They are a great threat with very high stakes. I’d love to see a series (Maybe Picard) go into their origins a bit without ruining it. Kind of like you never really want to know where the xenomorphs come from in Alien. I find that this far in they’d just ruin it, but if the writers had free-reign, they could come up with something horrifically cool and deep, maybe 🤞
