The KIA EV6 is the best all rounder EV car I tested so far

This is so far, out of the many EVs I have driven and tested, the best so far. Performance cannot be mentioned in the same realms as the super EVs like Taycan or Audi E-tron GT, but when price, comfort, space, practicality, performance, calibration was concerned, this is the best so far.

3 weeks into ownership and so far no complains. Considering the overall package it's one the best EV to get if you planning for one. Not trying to preach the whole EV conversion from ICE but if you ever consider an EV, this is a good buy.

Bobby there is storage space in thefront, you have to "open" the engine. And for the charging port, you can open with just a push on it.

Would love to see you drive byd atto 3 again but with a better tyre (Continental/Michelin) on sport mode and see if you would reconsider your comment. The stock Atlas Batman tyre causes the wheel spin as it's pretty crap. Also the car's artificial noise when driving under 30km/h can be turned off by unplugging the speaker under the bonnet, resulting in completely quite drive, even quieter than tesla in my opinion.

Some Those old skul toxic just cant accept ev… They always say something like , u charge 4jam , 4jam i dah sampai jb dah….i pump minyak 5min je…. Future all ev que at charge station. Balik kampong nak charge kat mana…. Real toxic…. I mean , we can charge our ev at home / shopping mall / charge station right… With their mindset, No wonder they still stuck at local brand start with P. Just cant try to adapt new thing…. Btw , EV6 & Ioniq5 both my fav ev😅 but family dont like it…. last2 pick ix3…. And now , regret.

amongs all bmw EV , the best would be ix3 i would say , good range also . don't regret , got pros & cons for every ride . meanwhile , yes , those netizen gonna think they're driving the car 20 hours per day , no need sleep , no need rest for shop . i own EV6 with around 13k milleage now , almost 0 effort 0 anxiety on charging now as i can charge at home . monthly highway DCFC charge fees maybe around RM20-50 (lesser than 20 mins)

Not just charging issue. EV cars are heavier and cost per miles isnt necessarily lower than ICE. Its advantages is non emission which is great for environment but its not immediate benefits for consumers.

it is lower than ICE for sure , malaysia is like 50% cheaper than Ron95 . (i didnt compare to Ron97 yet , basically if according to EV6 at 320hp 600nm , we should compared with Ron97 already) while in taiwan , it is around 80% cheaper than fuel .

It's really the best ev with the features so far!! Only thing is it's only cost 120k in Korea and 300k in malaysia :(

actually is around RM250k in korea for GT line . lowest range around RM170-190k (2WD +Smaller Battery)

Road tax in 2026 for ev6 is about RM3k and xc40 at 4500 for EV. ICE verson gor xc40 taxed way cheaper.

that's using old calculation method of road tax for Ev's hence paultan post is only speculation on the 2026 road tax (IF government didnt persue any amendment of Ev's roadtax , but i highly doubt government will ignore it , because it might affect Ev sales if they didnt amend)

The only problem is its an EV. Terrible for Malaysia and still untested for long term usage. It will take them another 10-20 years to get it all right.
