ok ive just purchased this! what are the best patterns to use i the midi to trigger these sounds? does the kick sound need to be on 1 channel then the bass on the other? say off beat bass?

Amazing stuff, always excited to see your new instruments! Though, im not entirely sure what the differences are between this and the kick-configurator? Are there any synergies between the two instruments?

Hi J G. Thanks. The instruments are similar in setup of combining layers. But the kick bass machine is much more advanced as it has an actual bassline generator. Als this is for kick bass combinations and not for the typical Hardstyle kick drum. I’m sure you can hear the difference

Yes you should be able to run Kontakt 5.6 on that and load the instrument. Please check if you have Kontakt 5.6 and if you have that the instrument will work 👍🏻

Hey A-Lusion! Great video 👍🏻 are presets shown in the beginning included? Can you make Kicks like A-Rize, Last of Us or Headhunterz, so the Art of Creation Artists with that? 😍

Hey, yes I play around with the shuffle mode in the beginning which randomly selects layers. All of these sounds are included. You can’t make exact copies of sounds of other producers (except for my Included A-lusion sounds) But I’m sure that what they produce you can get similar sounds like indeed. This is not for Hardstyle climax kicks but it is for kick and bass combinations. If you have the full Kontakt already, go for it! 😀

@@A-lusion oh, okay… very kind of you to give me such a detailed answer! There isn’t a demo version of this? Because, to be honest, I started new with Hardstyle again (since 2011 there has been a lot of changes 😁) and Mid-Intro Kicks I have several. But the major problem is the climax kick. And in that I would like to sound like them, they are my Idols to be honest … Would be the Hardstyle Kick designer therefore better for this kind of Climax kicks?

@@Lex-M27The Hardstyle Kick Condigurator can certainly help you kickstart your productions. You can use the included kicks right away. And later on if you make your own layers you can use them in it to speed up your workflow. The HS kick configurator is a nice entry price so maybe you can just go for it and try. No demo versions indeed. Make sure you have the full Kontakt version. The free player edition only allows you to use it 15 min per session.

how do you know what key your key and bass are in?

In case you use the preloaded basslines / sounds, they just play on the key you press. So if you press a G, the bassline is on a G. With the latest update you can now easily load your own sounds via drag and drop. For that function there is a auto pitch detect function so it sets the pitch correct so what you play is the note you hear. With complex loaded sounds it can be a bit off so there's a manual root node override feature. :)

Only for 15 minutes per start session. Then it times out. It’s the concept of Kontakt Player. So you’d have to restart Kontakt every time after 15 min. But the instrument fully works. But to comfortably use it in a track with the cool automation etc Kontakt full is needed. Works in Kontakt 5.6 and newer.

😊 I understand what you are saying. But there are so many controls and of course you have to know what the controls do to get the most out of the instrument. So you still need to understand the music production aspect to get the kick and Bass out in the best way. But the shuffle feature surely makes it easy to work with yeah. 😀
