I lost my adored 20yr old son, Kyle in January of 2018...in tears listening to this...memories rolodexing of his beautiful heart & goofy spirit, & taking him to middle school or picking him up & he always wanted to play this song, then he would air drum, air microphone sing with crazy faces...I love him so much, I miss him so terribly much...yes, Kyle....you broke me down. Jesus Christ. Be grateful for your kids, people. They can be taken from you in the blink of an eye. My life is an existence now, nothing can compare to life with my beautiful son.💔

Kiki, I went through a 10 year long deep depression that led to a divorce. I hated myself for so long. I always thought this song was about him singing to someone else until I looked it up. It's about singing to yourself. After I knew that, I listened to the lyrics again. I could see myself looking at myself in the mirror saying these lyrics. As much as I was depressed, self harmed and simply didn't want to live anymore...there was this very small piece of me that was still fighting for my life. With the help of medication and getting out of a bad marriage I finally found the warrior in me. This has turned out to be my life song. Stay strong and fight for yourself ❤

The narrator of the story finally comes to terms with his identity and the aspects of his personality that he is ashamed of. This is the turning point of the story where the singer has to deal with these suppressed emotions

This song is about finding yourself , caught between doing good, or doing bad . It’s finding out who you really are in life & being happy with the consequences you have to live with later in life Jared Leto said this in a interview & yea it’s Bury me ,Bury me for sure watch his lips in 30STM Vevo video for this song or any video of him singing it .
