If you listen to their new album you will notice they are trying to be like U2 and Tom Petty. The sound doesnt work for them. They need to get their edge back and stop playing these vocal based melodies and start harmonizing their sounds again. Read my Mind and Mr Brightside and even Human are songs that really harmonize well but in the Battle born CD, all I hear is Brandon fluttering his voice all over the place.
