The Killers - Mr. Brightside // Drum cover (+ Transcription)

This is one of those songs that I'm kinda surprised I haven't done already. Like it's such a classic and iconic drum song, even my girlfriend thought I already covered this one lol. But part of me is also glad that I waited because I feel like now I can do it justice. It's not super hard, but it's definitely a good intermediate song with all the sixteenth notes on the hihat, quick hihat opens, some interesting fills, and definitely a lot of steady kick drum that requires good timing. Also, even if the main groove of the song is simple, it's never completely the same throughout, so there was lots of little things to remember when learning this song. And even then, I still forgot a couple things (small things, most people probably won't notice the difference). Despite the recording and mixing process of this cover being difficult and frustrating at times, I still think the finished product is good and I can be proud of it. So, as always, enjoy the video!
