I love how we see each of the three take different approaches to deal with Ashfur post-fire scene in Power of Three. Jayfeather tries to scare Ashfur through dreams Lionblaze tries to appeal to Ashfur's sense of the Warrior Code Meanwhile, Hollyleaf gets the drop on Ashfur, he presumably tries to plead how he's just exacting justice and Hollyleaf is like "Yeah, no, you tried to kill us and now are set on ruining our lives, no negotiation, YOU DIE!" The others beat around the bush, hoping Ashfur has some shred of good they can use, but Hollyleaf just takes decisive action and given how Ashfur turned out in Broken Code...I know Hollyleaf felt regretful for killing him, but she was 100% justified.

I love how at the beginning it just seemed as if he was mad and upset at being rejected and didn’t know how to handle how mad and jealous he was, so he planned the fox trap with hawkfrost to get back at her. Then after the three came, he got obsessed with her and went out of his way to try to harm squirrely after that.

I love how you have Cloudtail and Ferncloud looking at him in concern at 0:47 and 1:24 because they are his siblings (Cloudtail is foster I know but they still grew up with the same mother).

WOW this is insanely good, I’m extremely impressed at the effort and time you spent on this. When I saw the title, I was just expecting a simple PMV, but you went all out and actually animated certain parts, and were able to capture “action” scenes very well. And brambleclaw was not only emotionally abusive, but had a toxic power play in the relationship (as he was deputy). The only reason that Squirrel never told him about the kits was that she didn't trust Brambleclaw because he always talked down to her. She did what she could so her and her kids could remain safe. This is so amazing and underrated!! Your art style is so satisfying and the animation is so fluid!! Your character designs are perfect, and I adore all the little details like how Ashfur noticed Brambleclaw’s DF training and how his siblings were worried about him. I also love that you actually showed how Ashfur and Squilf were in fact dating for a bit, most works just skim over that and make him seem like he was pursuing her for no reason lol, the detail of Ash being genuinely scared in the fire (he probably WOULD be, mans still has the memories of being a young apprentice during the fire in the first arc) until he sees the three and has his idea in the spur of the moment is neat too!!! And the death scene was so intense!! Oh man I’m just so in love with this whole thing

I love this so freakin' much from the artwork to the music and got stupid excited when I saw what the song was- then really upset when it cuts off at the end. x'D However I don't blame you, the entire song is pretty long and I imagine it'd be a pain animating the whole thing. I haven't read the newest books but I knew Ashfur's story had been continued, and so I briefly thought you were going to delve into that until the video ended and my brain went, "WHAT?! NO- BUT THERE'S MORE MUSIC!!" Clearly, I didn't want it to end, and that's when you know you've made a FANTASTIC video. I love this map, the expressions convey more of the emotion I think Ashfur should've been feeling in the books. Edit: What I mean by this is Ashfur seems like less of the psychotic person he was in the books and more of the concerned friend who Squilf rejected in favor of a abusive person, of course still being slightly, erm, insane??? I especially think this conveys with the fear and concern his expression conveys when his sees the wound appear on Brambleclaw.
