For an entire year I imagined Shadowpeach to this exact song so when I found the video I immediately clicked thinking “OMG OMG SOMEONE FINALLY DID IT HOLY SHIT” And wow. I was not disappointed in the slightest! May not be the exact same ship but the art and the character development and lyrics- Everything works so well! I especially am a huge fan of the art style, it feels both simplistic and incredibly stylistic! And the music choice oh my god… Loved everything about this! These ghosts of haunting -- Sharing dance in the darkness, Majestic and cold. Oooo, fascinating! I've not seen much in the way of Shadowpuppet content, but this is lovely (I'll have to scout out that fanfic, too). The way you draw the more wispy effects -- especially the pale ghosts (~4:25) --- adds a layer of winding haunting that elevates the scenes nicely. And the perspectives and angles!! My goodness, the range you have is impressive, as well as the style consistency (Lord knows my drawings range from similar-enough to long-lost cousins, LOL); it makes for a more cohesive story, and given that it's a near-seven-minute duration, I think you did pretty well. Wonderfully done, Fish! 💙

I'm on Tumblr and Bluesky under the same name :DDD!!! Tumblr has both my old and newer artworks, while Bluesky just has my more recent stuff. This animatic took me 2-3 months with generous breaks in between, but I must mention that some of the shots you might be thinking of might be one of the shots I simply traced from the original show! I did make a list of which screenshots I referenced/used on my Tumblr :))).
