The SF Giants won Game 7 of the World Series shortly before The Kills came on stage. Just about all the fans there were also watching or listening to the game on their smartphones while waiting for the show to start. The bar at the back of the dance floor also had the game on TV and all the Fillmore staff was wearing Giants gear.
Before ‘No Wow’, Alison says hi to a front row fan and says: “This one’s for you, little lady. She’s the smallest one here. She’s so cute. Cool shirt too.” She was 7 years old, a big fan of Alison, and even dressed up like her, wearing a long sleeve flannel shirt and black pants. Her mother had to hold her up on her hip so she could see over the rail. :P
