Wow reading these old comments made me realize how fast time flies and The Kills are still so underrated - it makes me sad, but also feel privileged to be one of you guys who appreciate how good these 2 are. God bless The Kills and its fans!

Because the industry caters to the sheep that listen to mindless pop shit, us fans of genuine artistic prowess have to search for the real music out there.

True listeners of music will listen to them. Instead of people who only buy music that they hear on the radio.

sweetrage425 they don't need to be "famous". They're fans know who they are and they tour all over the world. Music matters more than fame. And if it counts for anything, they still get millions of views on KZbin.

That twangy note spiraling out after "We're two parties, two parties ending." Says it with sound. Might be the best that a relationship's going off the rails. The Kills are so cool.

One of my favorite songs ever. Came out at a very exciting time in my life. I saw them live on the no wow tour and was really into their stage act, the way they would clang their guitars against each others and displayed that magnetic, sex charged vibe on stage. When I saw them next on the midnight boom tour the audience had doubled and they still were badass, but maybe a little more chemically influenced. But thus album is their best and still sounds fresh in 2022.

I have only discovered these guys back in January this year 2020 (possibly Nov 2019-between these times) when i was beyond down and out and cruising youtube in friend's bathroom where i stayed for about a whole year and not by choice...the bedroom and bathroom is where i lived hahaeh. Thought I'd never find these guys again when my life returned back to normal. I did not know this band is not new. I love em and their vids and chemistry and their normal appearances and the craziness of the mind they display well. Yup. I bet this band got straight A's in this class.

The tension in the clipped guitar chops, the terse lyrics ..... just gets right down to it. And I hope the aggression in the video is assumed, but it looks so real. Raw emotion. Rock and roll!

You got a few lyrics wrong... not too bad if you're not a trained musician. Here they are We're two parties Two parties ending What if you move What if you hide There's only so much you can miss Before we both collide A little tornado A little hurricano Last day of magic Where are you A little tornado A little hurricano We're two parties Two parties ending I'll be the man with the broom If you'll be the dust of the room And there's only so much you can hide Before I corner you Last day of magic Where are you A little tornado A little hurricano Last day of magic Coming through The eye of the storm And I hold on to A little tornado A little hurricano I'll be the man with the broom If you'll be the dust of the room And there's only so much you can hide Before I corner you Last day of magic Put the whole ride through The eye of the storm In a single room A little tornado A little hurricano Cavalry come Cavalry go Cavalry leave me alone A little serenade, oh A little cup of cane, oh Last day of magic Where are you A little tornado A little hurricano
@capricornking5606 жыл бұрын
Actually, it's not "A little cup of cane, oh". Rui Costa was correct, the lyrics are "My little serinado, my little cococaino" which fits with the other lyrics of "tornado, hurricano"...

This song is probably my favourite song of all time, and the video does help a lot. First of all, this is one of the best songs from the band, I love it, every single aspect of it, i do regret having missed some concerts due to conflicting schedules with work. That being said, the setting of this video reminds me of one of the times i went and visited my ex, and thee setting of this video reminds me a lot of her town, and how we both spent the night out in her town, the place was pretty empty except for both of us, this video will always remind me of better times that i've had in my personal life. Thank You!

The rythmic swagger and throbbing bass of T-Rex, similar vocal phrasing to Peaches, Placebo's hypnotic melodic ring,and so many other cool derivative components. Like Jagger/Richards their vocals complement each other magically. The combined production values work perfectly to propell the song to higher sonic ground. Excellent stuff.
