Alison Mosshart is the rock chick to end all rock chicks. I love The Kills but The Dead Weather is my fav Mosshart band.

Jamie's work especially in 103 is a sight to behold. Man and guitar as one.

I Just caught them in Portland a few short Days Ago ~ So Fantastic! I had never heard Jamie playing an acoustic! He plays with equally as much Dynamism as he does Electric (w/ Loads of Gear). This Really exemplifies How-Friggin'-Great they are! I've Always believed that a great song must be able-to-be-performed acoustically (All of his influences that he mentions make Total-Sense, but am I hearing a Led-Zep vibe to them in this set).

I love that they played pull a u!! It's my favorite! They did it live at an after party on Conan or one of them not sure but it was sick! And so is this!🎉

So cool, that Jamie shows us his old guitars (IN ACTION) !! Would Love to see that 1921, which was sadly in the bus @ the Rig Rundown...

People ask me who my influences are, I say everybody. But my hands-down all-time favorite is Jaime Hince.

who would imagine 2 cool cats, a cutting board and an acoustic guitar would make the perfect crossover of blues and rock n roll!

It makes the viewer hate the interviewer because she’s so much louder than everyone else

It was worth it for some of the old ones - sadly The Kills are becoming more and more like a parody of themselves these days though - not sure it was the same after Jamie broke his hand he used to be such a great garage blues guitarist especially on the electric - I saw them live a few times in the early days before everyone else had heard of them and he used to batter those riffs out like a deranged mentaloid - wasn't just the guitar playing but the acting the part of angry homicidal band image too - Doornroosje in Nijmegen in 2006 was my 2nd gig and the most on form I've seen them ever - after that two years later at a packed Melkweg in Amsterdam on the Midnight Boom album tour they just didn't have the same energy
