The Kimberly buffs are unbelievably strong...

So my low tier main Manon may have gotten a few good buffs to make her viable...but they pale in comparison to what the devs cooked with Kimberly. I fought against Psycho's Kimberly in an FT10 to see firsthand what these buffs made her become.

The buff to Kim st Hp is pretty good, if you play against one that actually uses her brain she can definitely play some footsies now, and the run pressure is quite nice too.

Bro, wtf i think they should probably reduce the super meter gain too!! Wth? When i mentioned this not a lot of people agreed with me (if any, at all) But i think of they reduced super meter gain universally AND reduced drive gauge decrease then it would significantly improve the neutral in sf6

It's not like the super meter on level 3 and onwards gain matters. Manon doesn't have many ways to her use her super meter Besides, when you get 4 medals, you likely already have 3 bars of super, go for oki instead of hitgrabs, and you won't need many grabs to win the round, and game is almost already over

I dont mind Kimberly getting buffs in the neutral, but i think they should also tone down her mix ups just a little bit. Her having an actual neutral game and the mix up she has now is kind of toxic and not in a good way.

the yolo in this game is real. anytime you were in the corner, that kim just didnt even have to think and just kept hitting those buttons. god this game is so bad and needs a drive rush mechanic overhaul. no thinking anymore

⁠@@itzpookiie You have to use a reversal DP/Super or perfect parry for a punish. Kim gets the Frame Trap but the defender has to commit to a harder defensive read now. Some people are already labbing the timing so the counter play is there. It’ll just take some time for people to not press jab every time after the three normals that Frame Trap into run.

@@Ghostpowder That's exactly the stupid yolo garbage that people are complaining about, because Kim can just either not cancel into run or cancel into run stop and splatter your PP, DP, or Super. That's Kim's reward now because she did the hard work of "get my long range heavy button blocked" And you have the overall problem - not Kim specific - of having the low forward DRC option select. Devs openly said they didn't want option selects like crouch tech. Except LFDRC is still here except on lights, where it was taken away. And of course DR eats inputs 3 seasons in for absolutely no f'ing reason.
