I mean Won didn't even figure out San's real identity or recognize her through a thin veil (while Rin could see from a distance that the woman in the veil wasn't San). Won also refused to call San by her real name, repeatedly talked about wanting to hold her in a cage, and by the end straight up threatened Rin's life if San didn't give up on her feelings. Compared to that I'd say Rin did pretty well
