On the mexico stage Billy King, Todo, temjin and Eiji are in the background but you have to look really hard for them

Great video for a great game. I can do every move in this game except for Sie Kensou's desperation move. All sources I have say it is OCF, back, forward and D, but it just won't come out. I don't understand it as the motion is the same for Takuma's DM, though you press A+C, and I can do that consistently. Does anyone know what I might be missing?

Kinda wish Robert or Ryo had a different special instead of both using Ryoku Ranbu. At least Takuma ended his with that power blast move.
