My guess the reason for the quick load times here is because you are stuck with specific teams in this game, the mirror match was especially quick to load, while later you can mix and match different characters and so it would take longer to load. I noticed a few quirks like a pause each time a character hits the ground a second time after being defeated, before the winning team delivers their win quotes, the characters don't appear immediately before each new round on the character select screen. certain sound effects are missing etc. But overall yeah, a very decent port of this game. :) You certainly can't argue with the fact that there is no loading between fights. :)
