Well its not like SNK would had time to port KOF 2000 for the NGCD being the last game by the original dev team also imagine how much they would need to cut animations for Garou on NGCD lol...I wonder if the NGCD project would be saved if they cranked the ram in that machine as a way to deal with load times. Nice run, keep up the good work.

The series would have probably continued on the Neo Geo CD, if it had not been for SNK's bankruptcy. I noticed that the audio quirk is back where there are two tracks. One that starts from the beginning and one in the middle, though that's likely due to their being fewer music tracks in this game, as there are fewer teams. I also noticed that the 'Fight' letters don't explode like in the AES/MVS versions. Strange. But congrats on beating the game without losing a round, that is impressive, especially for a SNK game. :)

The only downside to this port is that the loading screen is the same as the PS1/Dreamcast, just the Arcade screen standing still without any of those cool new art of animation they usually had on the NGCD. I really never cared for the loading times on the platform, as long as what comes next is Arcade perfect quality graphics and gameplay. ps: this game must have one of the worse ENGRISH translations SNK ever did.

_Lmao..._ I realise that most fighting games aren't exactly renowned for their amazing story-telling... Gotta say, though, the 'plot' of this game was truly a special kind of jank! Weird illuminati style cartels with a 'thing' for leather fetish gear... An army of clones with _oddly specific_ activation conditions... A world takeover plan so contrived that it makes your average James Bond villain seem sane & reasonable..! Honestly, the whole thing reads like some kind of bizarre fever dream... dunno what the SNK writing team were smoking way back then, but, honestly, they should've toned down the dose!
