KOFXV is better model wise and effects but i miss the dramatic camera effects of XIV I wish they bring it back it gives the game more personality.

Yea definitely. I found it odd they removed that for the level 1 and 2 supers. Also the facial animations in 14 were a bit more detailed and expressive

Kinda weird how XIV Rock’s Climax has a cooler start-up with a nice short lil’ pause before the camera pans out, while XV’s Climax has better pacing for Rock’s rush-down and final hit. And XV Rock’s scream on that final hit is *so* adrenaline-inducing.

You're right, what I didn't like was having removed the tremor from Raging Storm (0:37)... and Yamazaki facial expressions that in my opinion were more manic in kof 14 (4:19)(6:52). but they are only small details :)

well in KOF XIV they just rush the production thats why the graphic is so bad... but in KOF XV they take there time developing im so glad that delay the release date in KOF XV...... oh im also glad that they bring back Kyo's iconic hair... the kof XIV hairstyle was so generic...

The Rock's Hair is more better in KOF XIV... Some animations like fire (for example iori) I see it as if it were water in KOF XV... And that looks better in KOF XIV. I don't know if it's just me but there are things in which Kof XIV beats XV

I'm probably in the minority but feels like KOFXV model shading/shadow effects are a bit better as it makes striations in the muscle more pronounced & detailed. Sidenote, wish this team came with Geese's stage. I wouldn't care if it's the KOFXV one. His stages are always fyah!

idk I'd say the whole shading of KOF 14 did make the muscles more pronounced and detailed than KOF 15,and the effects are somewhat better, but KOF 15 has the better graphics, shading, animation, and basically everything

Effects on special moves were better in xiv...i like eve the shading more...models little bit better in xv and faces and hair of course better (but not for every character). I think kof xiv was a great game. Loved it. I ll buy even xv but i cant see too much emprovement in graphic and gameplay..ah... I ll buy it in definitive edition. Cant buy a kof game without kim.

KOFXV has generally better model work, but it feels like they made Geese's face too.. sharp? His face in XIV is a good 'pissed off American businessman' face, but in XV his eyes are too squinted, his mouth is tiny and his chin looks like a knife.

Basically KOF XV has a better cell shading effected even though XIV has better realistic shadows. XV is reminiscent of the sprite era I missed since XIII. And I do remember how XIV looked so plastic like. Maybe is was XIII’s sprites were a financial loss

In general yes, what keeps these characters different from the previous games are the new moves that each received Rock for example, his supers may look the same but he got a new overhead special and an install which makes all his specials multi hits and some even gain special attributes (like raging storm now being OTG for exemple)

Feel like there was very little care put into the models and animation in XV. Rock's hair and jacket don't bounce anymore, the colors are so weak and the shading effects on the models are barely there at all.
