the portability is the killer function of the uscooters/etwow patented design. i have the slightly smaller model of this one that weighs only 23 pounds and i can fit it under chairs everywhere on campus because its basically the size of a backpack

Hey bro be careful riding this scooter in the rain, I had to replace my battery in my Gt and I realized just how easy it would be to totally submerge the battery due to the low deck height if I were to go through 2.5 to 3 inches of water or even ride in a downpour for a few min because this scooter has like 0 water protection on the battery.. Here is a fun tip, since this scooter is so low tech it is very easy to add an external 48v 8-10Ah battery pack for extended range, I used my 8ah battery pack and I was able to travel 39 miles on power level 2 and I'm 200lbs . Adding an 8ah pack using a parallel adapter to connect it to my stock battery gives me 18.5ah and my scooter only weighs 4 more pounds so I know have a 33 pound scooter. I plan on Getting the Gt2 by segway but I am a bit nervous about the Low IP Rating, $2599.00 is a lot of money to pay and it not be highly water resistant. Thanks for sharing your story about the water sloshing around in the deck . I have a 1978 Puch Maxie Moped with pedals and my speedometer is water proof also a $1900.00 Honda Navie Scooter cycle and my electronics are fully waterproof so these scooter makers have no excuse.

oh man, I am so glad you told me about the rain, I will be way more careful... Also the extended battery sounds like an awesome idea too, I really appreciate you putting that on my radar!. thank you for the heads up! and glad to help regarding the GT2, I agree its pretty unacceptable to have water able to pool inside the deck, I got really nervous that I ruined it, but thankfully its still doing fine! ofc if anything goes wrong I will post about it here :) there is supposed to be a refreshed model coming out soon as per the Segway team in a year or so, so if I were you I might consider waiting for that!

Great review man, I actually had a Kaabo Mantis King GT and it was wayyyy too heavy and not nimble at all, sure was fun though lol xD. I sold it and picked up a Segway Ninebot E22 to go up and down the street to get groceries, chinese food, convenience store runs and I love it, only goes 12.4mph though and 13 miles Range, THIS looks like the perfect scooter to give that thrill factor that could get me a few more places with suspension and speed + Range. I appreciate your insights i'm debating using your code and biting the bullet because man does this look great, the build quality is tremendous, and that handle and weight are flawless. Thanks man!

so glad that i could help you make a decision! i still love mine and love how easy it is to carry around and just toss in the trunk of my sedan, but how it is still faster than just about all other scooters on campus here :D its a very simple scooter that hates the rain but i dont know another scooter out there that is this portable with a suspension and a decent motor

Only thing would be puncture proof tubeless tires. Thes solid tires dont have much traction and can slip and slide on wet or slippery surfaces. That’s the only thing I o make this the best.
@DrBernieBabylon3 ай бұрын
definitely slippery in the wet, nearly ate it a few times lol...

Thank you :D just the built-in mic on the insta360 Go 3, it was on my hat! pretty impressed actually

I just ordered one for my daughter. Then I read comments about the Sport still having e-braking issues. Too "grabby" at low speeds and not strong enough at high speeds even with after the controller changes they made.
@DrBernieBabylon7 ай бұрын
these are definitely issues, and i definitely noticed them when i first began using the scooter, but if it makes you feel any better, i dont notice this as much any more. the scooter is definitely not perfect but i do not think there is a more compelling option on the market at this time, maybe the apollo go but it is a fair bit heavier and has a larger footprint, so it wont fit in the trunk very easily, which is a dealbreaker for me personally.
@azdonw7 ай бұрын
@@DrBernieBabylon The NIU KQi Air is even lighter and could be an option for some, but I was opposed to maintaining air in wheels (even though these are self healing tubeless.) And the foot board is wider.
@DrBernieBabylon7 ай бұрын
@@azdonw defininitely worth cross shopping that one for sure! But for me, i think no suspension is a deal breaker too...

You really got to get into some better scooters. There's so much more out there. I can see you love them, but you really don't have a lot of experience with the best kinds. Do some research my friend. You will be much happier

@@DrBernieBabylon ok.... First off better distance and speed is inmotion RS..start there. Get PMT tires. You're driving a starter scooter for more advanced riders.

lol Molecricket62 is ridiculous comparing a 150lb Scooter to a 29lb Scooter Smh.. if you were paying attention to his review, you would see that he is going by speed and portability for its weight class Dumbo🤦🏻♂️ I would still choose this GT Sport over that InMotion Rs in a heartbeat just for those convenient specs that I just mentioned. Thx for the Review DrBernieBabylon!!

@molecricket62 you interestingly left out the inmotion RS's weight/portability lol.....which is what everyone is telling you is like #1 for them
