I remember seeing you on the cover of Muscle & Fitness magazine back in like 2005, and it had you sitting there with your hand on your chest and it said “I am the worlds biggest man”. I was awestruck seeing that cover page. Seeing a guy that huge made me want to get into the gym immediately. I just wanted to say this, because it’s a core memory for me that had a major influence on my teenage years. I wish you the very best in health and in your life. Preformed vitamin A (retinol) in high doses is prescribed for acne. Megadoses have been used in clinical trials to kill cancer. I have anecdotally never experienced vitamin A toxicity and I've eaten the 500% RAE for several months in a row. I noticed it helps prevent with sun burns from high UVA/B fluency when getting sun in morning, noon, and evening times. I feel like before modern society we were outdoors a lot more and vitamin A (a very powerful antioxidant and basis for the production and maintenance of many cells) was consumed in higher levels to improve resiliency. Of course, the inactive form Beta Carotene does convert to retinol in the liver at a very inefficient rate. I mean, try it for yourself if you want to be sure. I personally do not see high vitamin A being an issue for someone who is active and healthy. But again, everyone is different and balance usually matters more than anything.
