Widely regarded as a trailblazer and top-tier professional player in the online multiplayer game Glory, Ye Xiu is dubbed the "Battle God" for his skills and contributions to the game over the years. However, when forced to retire from the team and to leave his gaming career behind, he finds work at a nearby internet café. There, when Glory launches its tenth server, he throws himself into the game once more using a new character named "Lord Grim."

I love how Ye Xiu is literally trying to show Sun Xiang that what he does is an utter idiocy and that he should focus on his team and teamplay instead of chasing a past shadow of Ye Xiu.

@@geoffreyprior8931 pretty true.. since god ye has little time left (5 years?) And is using unspec which, I must say is quite trash and no pro gonna use(other than god ye)... It's better to research other pros. Since they would use dif builds/strats anyways, which would actually help fighting ye xiu (his annoying changing pvp technique)

Meh in the end of the Novel, SPOILER ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... After all his teammates died taking 3 of the Samsara players, Team Happy had only one character left, Ye Xiu's Lord Grim against three Samsara's god level characters : One Autum Leaf (Sun Xiang), Cloud Piercer ( Zhou Zekai), and Empty Waves (Jiang Botao). ... Everyone thinks Samsara would win, but then Ye Qiu proceed to triple killed these three in under 9 seconds. Later, both Sun Xiang and Zhou Zekai admitted that those 6 and 3 seconds were the most terryfing moments in their entire career. And those two were top tier god pro players (with people claimed Zhou Zekai as the best player at the moment) and also the best duo at that time. ... Ye Qiu is a monster, even compared to those two.

he earned the title god of fighting for a reason. excellent made a bad move removing him from the team instead of the lackluster backup. as he says Glory isn't an one-man game.

Seriously, the shitty four-eyes who kicked him off the team probably lost his job after that one-sided slaughter. Srsly, what the hell was he thinking getting rid of the single strongest player in the entire game? Even if he refuses to sell out, simply having his name associated with the Team should've earned them rep.

@@masaruten5213 Oh he lost his job long before. Spoiler Ahead obviously Excellent ended up getting relegated and lost out big time leading to the teams disbandment.( I have skipped quite a few details as its been over 5 years since i read the story) This was compounded by the fact the everyone started to find out what happened to Ye Xiu with the deal to make him become a trainer and general mistreatment before his departure. Four Eyes had to cash out and leave the country iirc, Sun Xiang went to a new team, Mucheng joined Ye Xiu and he bought Dancing Rain. That one lackey who was sabatoging everything ended up on some D-tier team and going nowhere for the rest of his career, pretty sure even got moved off the team and into the guild management.

@@luyentaptiengucmotlannua618 he was bad on Excellent Era due to having no one curb his 1 v 9 style. Hell; Ye Qui was let go due to him pushing complicated team play over flashy 1 v 1 plays. So leaving EE was good for Sun in the long run.
