Everyone, well mostly everyone overlooks that Iambic Pantameter bar after the Edgar Allen Poe and Shakespeare reference. An Iambic Pantameter describes the rhythm of each word in the lines of poetry. This whole verse is genius, and Los starts the verse stating his genius!

For me, perhaps the greatest line in rap ever. It seems to me he's saying that this is the equivalent of the weighing of the feather in Egyptian mythology, tying in with the biblical reference; that we have to be worthy, and that our sins can pull us under if we're not careful. It just speaks to me of The Last Battle, where Aslan stands at the end of Narnia, as those who turn from God fall away to the side of the entrance to Aslan's world, and the others walk through undaunted. Just incredible.

If you want to be amazed. I reccomend bar mitzvah by king los. It's what I think of as a classic example of him being insanely bar heavy. His freestyle on la Lakers is amazing as well for that level of intricacy. Another sick song that's also a banger AND new from his recent project. I reccomend the billie eilish freestyle
