Today, we are going to explain in plain and simple terms the Kingdom of God-a mystery which almost no one understands today, including those who call themselves Christians!
What is the Kingdom of God? Is it just a feeling in your heart? Is it the church or the collection of Christians throughout the ages? Is it only in heaven?
And why is it a mystery at all? Why is there such confusion over the Kingdom of God in the first place?

Constantly in the churches of the world or in videos online, you will find men and women preaching about JESUS-who they think He was, the story of His life as they understand it, the miracles He performed, some of the things He said or did, His crucifixion and resurrection.
It all SEEMS to make sense, and to be sure, Jesus Christ IS the savior of the world. It IS by His shed blood that we are forgiven our sins. But we have to ask ourselves: Is the message preached by these churches THE SAME MESSAGE THAT JESUS PREACHED?
As we’ll see in a moment, Jesus did not come to only talk about HIMSELF. The HEART AND SOUL of the message, preaching, and teaching of Jesus Christ was about the KINGDOM OF GOD! That might surprise some of you, because we don’t hear much about the Kingdom of God today. Yet it is mentioned around 150 times in the New Testament.
Let’s take a brief, but sweeping survey of the ministry of Christ and of His disciples, and see for ourselves.
In the book of Mark, chapter 1, we read of the very beginning of Christ’s ministry, right after the imprisonment of John the Baptist. Here in verses 14-15, Mark writes:
“Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the KINGDOM OF GOD, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the KINGDOM OF GOD is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Jesus came preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God.
In fact, look at Jesus’ statement in the book of Luke. In chapter 4, Jesus makes a very explicit statement about His purpose and His mission-ABOUT WHY HE WAS ON EARTH IN THE FIRST PLACE! In verse 43 we read, “... He said to them, ‘I must preach the KINGDOM OF GOD to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.’” Jesus tells us that His PURPOSE, the VERY REASON HE WAS SENT BY GOD, was to preach about the KINGDOM OF GOD!
The Kingdom of God was so central to Jesus’ message to humanity-to you and me-that He told us that seeking that Kingdom should be the number one focus of our lives. Read it with me in Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
That same chapter of the Bible contains the famous passage commonly called “The Lord’s Prayer.” In that model prayer, Jesus mentions the Kingdom of God TWICE-at the beginning and the end. In fact, the four gospels are FULL of teachings and parables from Jesus ABOUT the Kingdom of God-so many we don’t have time on today’s program to read them all. Instead, let’s turn to a passage in the book of Acts that may surprise you.
Many people don’t know that the Bible says Jesus actually spent almost six weeks with His disciples before ascending to heaven to remain with His Father until His return-six weeks of teaching them and preparing them for their mission. And what did He focus on during that time? Acts 1:3 tells us that Jesus
“... presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the KINGDOM OF GOD.”

Acts.4.12 No other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved If this ment the language you speak there would be many names. In fact there are. E-a-soos jesus, Yeshua . Which of these did the angel from heaven say to name the Babe ? Who was born in the fall by the way. Jesus is a 475 y.o. or so english name first appeared in the Geneva bible . I loved this teaching! You are so right about many so called Christians today. They think that we will be up in the sky when we are in Heaven or God's Kingdom. I went to church off and on my whole life being told that we would go up to heaven. I finally found my Lord and got into His word and found out a lot of things I was told wasn't the truth. I think that is the problem with a lot of people today is that they don't read the Bible, they just go by what some pastor tell them.

Jehovah's Witnesses have been declaring God's Kingdom for over 120 years and have suffered much persecution and hatred from the churches for it. They have shown from the Bible that the Kingdom is God's government, with Christ as King. Along with those taken from the earth to rule alongside him during the thousand year reign, that heavenly government will fulfill all of God's promises and restore the earth and mankind back to His original purpose.

​@@okorebe I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. Jesus' words here are easy to understand if we remember two important points: 1) Jesus is the King of God's Kingdom. Even while on earth, he was the one designated to be King. 2) The Pharisees ( and all Jews, even his followers, were expecting a miraculous display of God's power, one that would drive out the Romans and restore David's throne by means of the Messiah). Of course, God's Kingdom was not going to be established at that time and would no longer be earthly, but heavenly. There would be no fantastic display such as when God delivered them from Egypt. Bearing these things in mind, the actual words used by Jesus were not, the Kingdom Of God is within you, but the Kingdom is "among you". The Greek words mean, "in the midst of you is". Those Pharisees fought Jesus and did not want him as king. Jesus would hardly have been saying that they had the Kingdom within them. How was the Kingdom among them? Because it's King was there with them, teaching them, appealing to them, doing God's will among them. Also, they had the promises as children of Abraham to be part of that Kingdom, to rule with him. He made this clear to his 12 apostles later, telling them that they would sit on thrones in the Kingdom. In a very real way, the Kingdom was among them. Hope this helps. So good to hear the Kingdom preached! Good job! There will be a lot of work to be done - traumatized and injured people, rebuilding a war-torn earth, education... it's about serving and helping, not just saving our own arsh. One verse you could have addressed, where many error, is Luke 17:21 which means it is 'among you', not 'within you'. A verse you quoted, Micah 4:2 is a favorite to me, because I remember it being sung in Hebrew every sabbath service in the synagogue, "Ki mitzion tetze torah,udvar Adoni mirushalayim" and the service, the "avodah" was preserved by the Jews, Paul tells us.

Jesus told Christians to pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. God's Kingdom is a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ as King, Isaiah 9:6,7; Matthew 5:3; Luke 1:31-33. Soon Jesus as King of kings will bring beautiful changes to the earth. There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5. No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 37:9-11. The righteous hearted meek ones will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:29; Matthew 5:5; Proverbs 2:21,22. The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 55:11. Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth including raising those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,29. There will only be one government over the entire earth forever, Daniel 2:44. Jesus said that this good news of the Kingdom would be preached about in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Jesus taught his disciples how to accomplish the preaching of the good news of the Kingdom, Acts 5:42; Acts 20:20. Who are following the same instructions that Jesus gave the first century Christians? How will you respond to the good news of God's Kingdom government? John 4:22-24; John 17:3; Isaiah 42:8. All Christians must understand the Kingdom of God. Many do not know or understand about this Kingdom, including me, until recently our pastor in the church had a series of sermons about God's kingdom did I start to understand this. All Christians must know this. This is not being clearly preached. That's why many Christians are lost.

I have been praying for a Gift of salvation to my mum and my sister but my sister was gone already. She believed in prayers and requested to pray. I told her that although I am not with her, God will be with her and call on Him when she was fearful. Lately, I have recalled on the illustration of the Kingdom of God that I gave to my friends in 2014 and just learned that I have to focus on the Kingdom of God instead of the salvation or baptism which was already done in 2000 years ago and we are in the era, that is the Kingdom of God and for some; it is coming, for some; it is near, and for some; it is at hand.

Excellent video, finally someone who preaches that we need to keep the law of God. To make this teaching more complete, it is also really important to study the King, who is a high priest in the order of Melchizedek. Matthew Nolan has an excellent teaching on that. When the temple was destroyed, the Aaronic priesthood was utterly destroyed, and the Melchizedek priest could finally reign. There is a great book about the destruction of Jerusalem by Peter Holford that all Christians should read to fully understand how God's wrath was poured out on Jerusalem for killing the prophets and for killing the Messiah. Luke 19:41-44
