This video goes mainly over the Karaz Ankor, or "The Everlasting Realm". The Kingdom of the dwarfs consist of a collection of mighty holds, many of which have already fallen to natural disasters or an overwhelming number of enemies. 15 different stories are told in this episode. Despite the many tragedies that their race have endured over the centuries, the dwarfs still stand proud and defiant.

@@flaviomonteiro1414it could have been its own thing really. Like imagine just having Sigmar and some other gods reaching this new land made by the old ones and well make use of it. Could explain why the gods are so distant in fantasy, they are busy keeping another realm from being swarmed by chaos.

This type of lore video on cities with in-game footage makes me wish there were in-game looping videos of what the cities look like up close and within that you can view when you take them in the game. That little bit of fluff would really add to the immersion. If a city gives me access to a special ore smelter, then I wanna actually see what that smelter looks like in the framework of the city. Amazing work as always. As a friendly reminder; 'Revenge' is a noun, and 'avenge' is the verb.

There was a page in the Book of Grudges ever since the fall of many of the holds of Karaz Ankor during the Age of Woe, that there has to be a historian that would brave the holds and document in great detail the lost history of the dawi from that age. That page has now been crossed out as YOU have made this history here! May the gods of the Forge give you great heat and prosperity!

@@TheBookofChoyer I am very sure of that. I had just been too "intimidated" by the sheer mass of it all, as well as not knowing where to really begin with it - since it's not like let's say Lord of the Rings where you just start with the first book and continue down the line haha. But your channel has sparked my interest and I will see how I continue after I watched what you kindly provide on the channel :) Merry Christmas by the way.

Part of me wonders what would have happened had the skaven and dwarves allied in some form or another. If the dwarves traded warpstone to skaven and so on. How many of these great cities would still stand had the two underground powers worked together. Then again whatever alliance the dwarf and the skaven made would have had to have been made with the great horn and the dawi ancestoral spirits for it to be binding.

By the amount of fighting in the Warhammer Fantasy world, women must be pumping out yearly. Skaven have "baby factories", lizardmen have their spawning pools, and orks and goblins grow from their fungus, but humans, elves and dwarves, they must need some effective population production programs to maintain their number.
@kevincass9917

If there were two dragon types I would probably expect to see from the dwarven realm, I think one would definitely be a type that I heard about before that dwells in the deepest parts of the earth. Something like a gigantic snake/worm or millipede kind of creature beneath the mountains, so deep that even the Skaven and haven't been there in their Under Empire. And if there was another one, I could see you being something crazy, like a dragon that the dwarves built made of iron and other metals as well as some magic. And it would have to be equal parts steam powered machinery and dwarven rune magic. In fact I could actually see them making a small aerial fleet of those drakes like wyverns. But unfortunately they don't have enough runesmiths to make it happen and most of the Dawi who try to do rune magic end up dying or turning to stone (which in its own way is still basically death). Besides these mechanical dragons that I'm envisioning, I'm actually surprised they don't have giant digging machines similar to the Rat Men. But the Dwarves could probably reuse them as war machines. I also think their breeding problem is probably in the beer that they drink. They might want to switch to wine. Or at least Dwarven women might want to do that. I heard once that drinking wine around the point of conception might change the outcome of a baby's sex/gender when born because of a hormonal change when consuming wine before procreative sex occurs between parents, if fertilization of an egg actually occurs. But that's just a theory of mine. Plus this is mostly a study in the real world about humans. I have no idea how it would affect dwarves. Especially since drinking mead/beer and large amounts of it, is basically part of the religion, literally 😂🤷🏾‍♂️ 😅🧬🍷🤔🧬🍻😆😂

“The dwarf’s god saw that he gave dwarfs short legs, so when he went to bestow upon them their lands, wanting to make it easy for his children to range and patrol their territory, he collected up all their rich land due to them and dropped it into great, concentrated piles upon a narrow stretch of earth - so that it would not be too great a burden for them to travel and defend its extents. Since this piled up land was more difficult to traverse and scale than simple plains, he gave his favored children the skill and industry needed to dig great tunnels that stretch across their realms. With this knack for tunneling the dwarfs could range across their domain without needing to climb and scrabble like goats. But then he saw the immense task before his blessed children, digging and securing endless leagues of tunnels through their domain and worried that this titanic project might overtax his fledgling creation. So in his wisdom he eased their burden of so much digging by making their legs shorter, so that their tunnels might not need so high of ceilings. By making them squat in stature he made the task of tunneling across their homeland realistic, that they may not need to move so much earth for the construction of their kingdom. And that is why us dwarfs live in our mountains. And why we excel at subterranean construction. And why we are blessed with short bodies. All in a clean, annular explanation - that we may not stray off to think of other related questions and fancies that might arise from a more incontinent explanation, and our curiosity is sated so that we may get back to work.”

That would only happen when both sides set aside their differences and their fallings to the other, the dwarves see the chaos dwarf sorcerers as vile defamation of their noble race and see hashut as a vile chaos god. If hashut could change and his people as a result especially when it comes to slavery and the many vile acts they do then maybe the chaos dwarfs can reunite but the dwarfs would still be wary of their long lost brothers

The great book of grudges would be by far the most complete historical account ever in almost any fictional, and by a large margin real world, seeing as they mention, names, dates, the event, and how bad the even was to them

@@calebbarnhouse496 That is a way of saying it. It literrally includes every moment any dwarf has ever feel insulted from the start of the Karaz Ankor. Is really difficult to even imagine how big it would be, even the modern internet in it's totallity would be smaller in informagion than the Dammaz Kron. And the most stupid thing would be that it is almost all fact, as dwarfs only lie in very unusual cincurstances. And it includes every ocasion a dwarf feels insulted, Kazador included multiple sentences to a goblin that ruined one of his hunts by not recieving a bolt to the head as the terrible vermin should have. It even included a precise description of the grobi, so if a dwarf managed to kill it, Kazador can stop feeling angry about it.

@@joapercan6887 naturally, but while massive, by historical standards, and even by modern databases standards, the size of the internet is truly staggering, in 2017 it was measured to be 10 to the 24th power of bytes, which is about 1 septillian characters, which while that is less then how much a dwarf hates any one ork, it is more then he has time to express about how much he hates said orc or gobbo

@@calebbarnhouse496 I disagree with that declaration. We need to consider that a bytes is not equivalent to a letter, nor a letter equivalent to a word. And as the dwarf language is made of runes, the only way of couting it is with word counts. You would need to identify how many bites in the internet actually form something, as I think that images counting as one grudge, with grudge refering not to a word value but as how many orks is needed to kill to count as eliminated, grobi count as quarters in this scale probably excepts in grugdes where the value of the grobi is declared in specific. Then You would need to consider how many liters of blood dwarfs of the royal family can produce over a period of nine thousand years, how many runes a liter of blood is, how many runes per grudge. All of that to establish a maximum in the following calculation. You consider the amount of dwarf population at present, meaning probably 3 million, you consider their reproduction cicles at 50 year more or less, you divide 9000 between 50, you multiply that for 3 million, then that probably by 5 based in population changes in dwarf history, multiply that by 400×9000 to put it in days, then multiply by grudge production per day per dwarf, that I will aproximate as 3. Then you can look the amount of runes in a grudge, with the average of that you can see how many runes an image equals to. And with all of that you can compare the two. If you put all of that into consideration, while I am not sure if the book is bigger, at the very least seems near it in size comparison. The only problem would it be if there is enough blood in the High Kings family to support all of that. Also we have to question dwarf brain sizes, I mean, Thorgrim remembers at the very least the entire book with expansion, as he also knows from memory every soldiers in his army and all the things written in the royal hallls of Karaz a Karak, that are somewhat of a auxiliary to the Dammaz Kron when telling dwarven history.

@@joapercan6887 @Joa Percan most characters, particularly in English, are about one byte of information, this does change, but when your referring to this you have to be vauge, or own a math degree, and an expensive calculator, Next if we are valuing the amount of information held the number of orcs or goblins in a grudge is irrelevant, it's based solely on how much information is recorded, which while staggering, even with 3 million dwarfs, thats almost a 1/3rd of the population of a medium sized state in the United States of America, Virginia, which while not all of them will be documenting as much as a dwarf feels slighted, the sheer mass easily overcomes how often the difference is, then you have the thousands of years of recorded history that got copied to the internet, the countless business reports, videos and the trillions of pictures taken, in 2021 alone an estimated number of 1.44 trillion pictures were taken, the size of the internet is impossible big, even if each grudge was written in a single second, it would take 45,544 years for them to finish writing as many grudges as one years worth of pictures, when it comes to historical accountings, it's easily the most highly detailed and well organized, when put next to the sheer size of the internet is tiny
