Was she striked by KZbin or something to stop her from livestreaming? Seems hard to think that's the case for a entertaining and caring character I have seen so far :/

It's just coco being coco. She read the youtube analytics of her viewers countries and taiwan was shown as an independent country and the CCP threw a fit and attacked coco and demanded cover corp to fire coco or they will not support HoloCN. So they had the decision to either fire coco or leave the chinese market and they chose not to fire coco and just leave the CN market. So in the end HoloCN was disbanded which consists of 6 members and the sad part is is that the chinese anti's continued to attack her by spamming random things hoping that the youtube algorithm will ban kiryu coco but it never works of course. That's why most of her streams are members only chat and the funny thing is that the anti's pay for membership only to spam and then get banned then create a new account to spam again. It's just sad seeing these brainwashed people follow everything the CCP says.

WARNING: info dump. Coco is my fav vtuber, so... * She is born in USA. So, the "american tights" and her perfect English. * She was banned from livestreams on youtube for unknow reasons (KZbin doing mistakes... as usual) for around 4 weeks. She joked on that with the other hololive girls. * Asacoco News is her morning stream that she was doing for a long time, a little news-show style stream where she talked about what happened in hololive the day/days before. Every day, every morning at 6' o'clock. She said that it's a very heavy load to do, basically sleeping very little to prepare it. * She is an ARK fan, and manages the internal hololive ARK server. ARK developers are in contact with her and keep her informed of the development of the game. * Coco and Watame have a good relationship, Watame was doing a stream just after AsaCoco News, and helped Coco with it more than one time. Watame stream was her singing songs and playing rock/paper/scissors with the audience. * Coco is a big tech expert in Hololive. It's not rare to see other hololivers call her to solve tech problems (and she is the ARK expert, see above). * Coco is one of the first to do something if some other hololiver had problems. She helped Aqua when she had problems with a part of her audience, doing a RAFT (a very chill game) collab stream where she talked with Aqua of her problems, trying to help her. Same when Watame had similar problems, this time using an ARK collab stream. * Kanata and Coco IRL live together. Suisei live in another apartment on the same floor, with her IRL sister Anemachi. * The relationship between Kanata and Coco has been great since the start. In one of her firsts streams, Coco said on stream that she was hungry... not much time later, Kanata was at her door with food (paid by her) and they had lunch together lamenting their sorry money situation (they both where not monetized by youtube at the time). KanaCoco (aka they) is one of strongest friendship/relationship in Hololive (they have bough matching/couple rings, but they negate that they are more than friends...) * "Asacoco" is a fictional brand that Coco used in her Asacoco News stream as (fictional) advertisement break. The audience begin to give her SC to "buy the product". She runned with the joke, of course. * She is a very very very big fan of the "Yakuza" game franchise. She uses Kiryu as surname as a reference to Kiryu Kazuma, the main protagonist of the first six games in the franchise. * Her 3D debut is... fantastic, in a unique way. She is a very good dancer, and shocking athletic. * Her only weakness is that she cannot take praise, as showed more than one time. * She tried to be a vtuber inspired by Akai Haato/Haachama. She was very happy when Haato, back from Australia, finally visited her at home recently.

Coco named part of herself after Kiryu Kazuma since she's a massive fan of the Yakuza Series hence the Name Kiryu Coco she also recently reached a million subscribers. Coco is the reason I personally fell down the rabbit hole of hololive and other vtubers. For the guy you saw in the video his name is Koefficient he's a great guy

Nice reaction. I love hololive and I can't get enough of people reacting the these vids. Sometimes when they are doing a solo stream and another member shows up they have a still image for that person, like when Watame gave Coco a letter. As shown in this video InaccurateSubs fully translated the full Meme Review streams that Coco did and they are hilarious.

coco was actually hololives first native english speaker since shes actually from georgia, as a huge yakuza fan (her name kiryu is from the yakuza games) she taught alot of bad words, memes, and other nonsense to the girls but also real advice and she was always a firm supporter of everyone in hololive, she was the one who pitched the idea of hololive english and if i remember correctly was even the one who scouted the girls we now have as hololive english. and coco is also the origin of the man the myth the simpefficient, when koe made that shitpost with coco and she called him aniki hes been hololives big bro since, clippers have used him as a cameo for a couple big community videos now, hololive rewind, towas 1 year, haachama even reacted to him reacting to her eating a tarantula, and he even went as far as to cook an extremely gut wrenching meal that mel made, on stream, and taste test it. lastly one of his other biggest achievements was being the one to expose coco for having those fine american hips and thighs, she even admitted that she told her modeller that she wanted to be able to move her hips like shakira when they were making her 3D. she is called chairman for a reason, she really is on hololives best. as of 2020 coco is actually the number 1 worldwide in superchats, so yes. thats alot of superchats. also im not fully sure on why she was banned from streaming that first time but it was likely just victim of youtubes sensitive side where she got restricted for some time because of her behavior and content, nothing big and quite common among hololive girls, but much later after some time there was a much bigger case of drama that actually persists even now, for the passed like 6 months shes been doxxed, harassed and threatened by a portion of the chinese community and some more because of a very superficial mishap that brought up politics that nobody asked for, its actually really unfortunate and quite sad, nothing more than an innocent mistake on nobodies part that had gotten her suspended again and as far as got the whole hololive china branch closed along with their whole market in china, costing 6 girls who are no longer hololive and maybe half of which who are no longer vtubers at all. the biggest relief she had was kanata, as well as suisei, the three do actually live together and kanata especially has spent alot of extra time to be with coco through everything, just recently coco was being harassed in a members only chat stream (which means they were PAYING for membership just to come ruin chat with unreadable spam), she broke down and cried as kanata knocked on the door, ran in and cradled her, then told chat she would take coco out for some food and ended her stream. the stream is now privated. OH and lastly i get your concern, but on a lighter note dont worry, coco has also confirmed that her tail IS INDEED plugged into her asshole. its a plugin model of the product she calls asacoco. (same name of her morning news broadcast)

Fun Fact: Koefficient is actually a bit of a big deal because on a video he made reacting to Coco he called her out as being American because of her hip movements and Coco watched the video and confirmed that she was American on stream as a result. That's what sparked their shitpost collaboration.

I found out your reaction a month later but somehow no one seems to answer you about the Coco livestream ban. So here's some context/source for future viewers: It happens on April 19 and lasted about 1 week. At the time it's the start of lock down and KZbin basically rely on AI to do the flagging, and AI being AI banning people for no reason. So Coco was banned for live streaming but still able to upload video. You can refer to Asacoco on 20th April 2020 for detail explanation. For anyone who got in the hololive hole, Asacoco 1st season (Jan to about May 2020) is a good documentation of hololive history going from a mostly local agency to a international meme material. (For reference, for t is before 3rd Gen 3D debut.) Coco almost single handedly bring hololive to English viewers with Asacoco memeing every members on daily basis.

i dont know if this is true, but apparently coco was hired as a hololive employee, not a vtuber, but since there was an opening, she volunteered for it (this is probably why she has less restrictions than others (like being able to be really inappropriate etc))

That's not why she got livestream restricted. The section that had the interviews with the other girls was from early 2020.

@@ewlol yeah that was just the average live restriction, its common among them to get demonitized or restricted, the china drama had nothing to do with youtube she was suspended from streaming by cover for that one, not by youtube. she couldnt even use her twitter account in that time.
