That’s literally like Luke dating Elizabeth or Laura dating Dante… just cause Robin has been written off screen doesn’t change GH history these writers seem to want us to forget. No; "we" donn't expect that. That's absurd, lol. This is a soap. Jason works for the mob. He turned his back on his brother AJ, and remains close to Sonny, who killed him. He remains close to Carly who took AJs son from him for life, drugged AJ when he was sober, etc, etc. Jason chose Sonny & Carly over his own marriage, his own sons. So while I''m a huge fan of "Jason," he's not some paragon of virtue. And need I repeat this? It's a SOAP! LOL. There are numerous relationships with parents and their "kids" at some point being involved with the same man or woman. Jason and Robin were thirty years ago. Most of us don't care. We don't cut off potential great stories and couples moving forward because someone dated someone else thirty years ago regardless of who that someone else was.

Steve and Bradford my hat's off to you.Listening to how excited you are about the show is amazing.You two are truly company men,but that's what it takes to keep your jobs. The storylines have been all over the place,without any rhyme or reason. The writers have Jason as no longer"Stone Cold ",they now have Jason running behind Anna with tears in his eyes begging her to be his friend.WTH? Of the many life and death situations that Jason has been in this African rescue does not even make the cut. I'm not sure why the writers would have Jason and Anna suddenly freak out and think they were going to die. Neither were injured, and they had help.This was definitely not one for Jason to lose his legendary cool over.Anna and Jason were not needed in Africa.Lucky and Holly would have gotten away.JMO!

I agree; I hope the story goes there. But I think one of the interesting aspects is that Anna is trying to get Jason to think about his future; not to waste it in the mob anymore; not to risk his life constantly. I'm thinking that MAYBE, this could be a turning point for Jason where for the first time he really thought he was going to die; he faced his mortality for the first time in such an immediate fashion. (Although I could contradict myself and say he faced death when he fell into the water, or when he was kidnapped and his memories transferred into Drew's mind, or when he was held prisoner in that Russian clinic for a few years...but I won't. LOL.) I say it's decades overdue for Jason to have new stories with new characters (for him) and pairing him with Anna would be a turn from same old/same old...and with a very interesting dynamic due to their pasts on many levels. And I definitely feel chemistry between them onscreen.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this "caper!" It was a total homage to the GH of yesteryear which we don't see too much anymore. And you, Steve, as "Jason," FINALLY have other scene partners to play with. It's great seeing Jason in more than Sonny's world and the mob. Seeing legacy characters, Holly, Lucky, and then Jason and Anna, was so fun. And, I might be in the minority but I would LOVE to see the writers take Anna and Jason into an actual relationship. That kiss was so passionate; a romantic, desperate, two-people-clinging-to-what-they-thought could be the last moments of their lives. So well done. I'm just loving the possibilities of this pairing. I hope the writers go for it and ignore viewers (as they usually do and which usually pisses me off) who are freaking out in a negative way and seem so against Jason/Anna for one or both reasons: she's older than him. So? And he dated Robin about 200 years ago. I say go for it! Haven't been looking forward to any potential couple as I am about this possibility... That kiss, that moment, was incredibly felt. Emotional, romantic, two human beings who have a history wanting that moment of connection before their possible end. I loved it... I felt everything...fantastic acting by both you and Finola.

Whoever is saying that Anna & Jason is "gross" or "ugh, he was with her daughter" has no clue what soaps are all about. Get real! This is what soap fans live for! I think it's fantastic - bring it! Robin has been off the show for years and their relationship was not what defined the characters. Stone and Sam defined those characters. Let it go! This has the potential to be very exciting and isn't everyone craving some love in the afternoon? I love it. It works for the characters as they are now. And it would be hot! I'll take it! (Oh and by the way, The Bold & the Beautiful has survived decades with nothing but this type of stuff and they're ratings are better than GH - so lighten up and enjoy! It's a TV show - not real life!! Keep GH on the air and quit complaining!)

They don’t really think of each other as “exes” Jason is like 50 years old, Anna is not a predator who’s been grooming him his whole life. Also, Jason has shown that he’s starting to really care about/for Anna… it was really different for Jason to go to her and say, “look our friendship is important to me, give me a chance.” Like it was clearly hurting him to think she was going to cut off their relationship. They’ve been working up to this… it’s not just a random one off. Jason and Robin were together but they’ve been friends much longer and I think they think of each other more as friends than exes. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it but it’s pretty clear that it’s happening so I’m going to sit back and accept it. It’s gonna force both Anna and Jason to think about “the other side” in ways they never did before. Jason *kept information from Sonny* on account of Anna… I love when they do things that shake up the characters loyalties. And Anna was starting to get real self righteous so it’s great that she’s gonna have new reasons to cross that line and stop acting like she’s above it.

I don't want to see that scenario again with Jason/Anna & Robin. Jason and Robin was a wonderful couple together. I want to see fresh new relationships form like Jason and Lois Cerulo. I agree, it doesn't matter how long ago it was. Many of us viewers remember what a supportive, unconditionally loving relationship Robin and Jason had, and what they meant to one another. The bridge was originally their place. In essence, being with Anna would be like Jason being with his mother in law. I can accept the kiss if it was a one time thing, because Jason was comforting Anna, and maybe she reminded him of Robin a little at that moment. And because a kiss is a life affirming gesture, the opposite of murder and death.

Now that Jason is finally out of the mob, they’re not going to pair him with Elizabeth (which Becky and Steve still both have amazing chemistry together) and they’re not gonna bring in some new actress who is closer to Steve’s age who can show him a softer side of life or something and see how that goes or even have him try to be a better father to Sam’s son and Elizabeth’s. But no. What do that instead they’re choosing to pair him with the MOTHER of his first love and ex girlfriend?! This makes sense to these writers? Wtf is happening to this show.

On bringing old characters back such as Rick. It works if you follow advise I got years ago from a small community theater director, 'enter from where you just were'. You can't try to bring them back as if they never left. However long they were gone from Port Charles they lived lives and evolved. That has to be brought into the character development. Jason is still Jason but there is a hint of evolution to him and it works.

Steve and Bradford what do you think of Kin Shriner and the guy who played Nicholas Cassidine starting their own show similar to this? And why did Kin Shriner just disappear from the show, they just left us hanging with him having the hospital pharmasist held in that room and he brings groceries and then disappears and the groceries on the floor.

First of all.. the kiss between Jason & Anna was absolutely disgusting & cringey! The writing SUCKS. The show's writers have had about 4 firings, rehirings, quitting, using people that work behind the scenes to write the shows. Listen to Soap Dirt. She covers it all. That's why the writing has left a lot of loose ends in the last 18 months. Who bought the mansion? Ava has all that money from the sale of the mansion & hasn't bought a house yet... keeping her from her daughter! When is Nicholas getting out of prison? Where's Scott & the pharmacist? What the 'F' happened w/ Blaze? Why & how has Christina been kicked out of her own project started w/ her money from Sonny? Why are they having a sick relationship w/ Drew & Willow? Why did they bring Gio the violinist onto the show? Why are they making Tracy so juvenile & such a b*tch to Sasha & Cody? Holly is back ruining Robert & Diane's relationship again?! Carly makes the huge mistake of covering for Sonny? Sonny doesn't care that his daughter's mother Alexis is in FEDERAL PRISON?! Sonny is a cad & needs to turn himself in. Everyone is town knows he killed Cates! It's just such bad writing!

The pharmacist is on Sonny’s island. Blaze left to tour, and Kristina broke up with her. Blaze was willing to stay. Kristina got kicked out because she was in a relationship with someone who was closeted, and what Natalia said. Tracy has lost people she became close to, such as Gregory. She has a special friendship with Cody, and was jealous because she was afraid she would lose him.

Steve - your ability to recap that entire story beat by beat the way you're doing in this video is just fascinating to me. God only knows how long ago you shot it, and I'm sure you can't watch every episode. Just how do you do it? Both of you guys. It's not like primetime/sitcoms that are in seasons. That's easier I think. You guys work in never-ending arcs with your characters. I would be so mind-blown trying to do what you guys do. lol. Also, silly question, but I just have to ask (though you've probably been asked a million times) - do you guys actually dream/think like your characters? How could you not?
