The Kitten Squad That Will Melt Your Heart!

Maine Coon kittens Brock, Misty and Ash are 3 weeks old and are starting to get so big. They can walk around, play with each other and they are already planning their escape from the box. But be careful, they are experts at melting hearts too!

The kitten gang is making preparations for Project escape, you can see Brock trying to help Ash escape but mom came and put a stop to the plan… for now :) Ada the babysitter is so sweet with the little ones!

Luna and Dexter maker stunning babies. Gosh they’re so cute. They still have the wobbles. When my Sophia’s kittens reached the stage of escaping “the box”, it became a hockey game. Sophia and I were the goalies trying to keep the kitty pucks in play! LOL. WOW… was that Ada visiting the sleeping babies? She’s huge, especially next to the tiny ones. And Momma Luna, resting up. Once they escape the box…. Game on!

I don't know why but their is something different (special) about Luna's kittens!! Not anything like Freyas. All three of them are just so so so adorable and their faces deplict neediness!! I think Freya's litter was a great one too. But Luna really knows how to be a mother and she likes it too. She is very calm and confident about it and takes care of them perfectly. Maybe that is an advantage for these three 😄

When they are strong enough to climb out, its time to create a door. Might as well give a safe fast way back in. Outside before they have maatered body temp regulation they could get uncomfortable or sick trapped outside. Best to have quick access to a warm nest. Raising mama and her kittens a heating blanket under towels and sheets made sure everyone was warm. By the time they are walking properly no box will hold them. Hence a door with a low lip. Also knowing they can leave anytime will encourage them to come back when cold/tired. 😊
