"Inspired by the British camp chairs"??? This isn't inspired by, it's a complete duplicate. This is called a Roorkhee Chair and has been around far longer than 1933. What exactly do they think is different from a Roorkhee?

It's height and seat angle are different from most Roorkhee. Although campaign furniture were made from all sorts of wood, they would have been more commonly made in mahogany or teak. The wood turning would have certainly been different. I also am not sure if I've seen a Roorkhee with a cushion, as they were meant to be rolled up, (but considering how many were made over so many years, I wouldn't bet against it). You're definitely right; it may have been more fair to say this was a Danish modern interpretation of a classic.
