Total BS. This isn't even the ACTUAL old "long version". This is a spliced-up version of the standard one. If you ever heard the real extended version of Averre railing for half an hour you'd definitely know it. This is a joke even without the stupid "retro cuts" crap.

The Knack came decades before Green Day, therefore Green Day sound like The Knack. "My Sharona" had a massive influence on everybody that followed it. When The Knack played "LIVE" on Countdown (Australian music show) millions of people were going insane with pleasure and excitement. "Dookie" by Green Day is almost the perfect debut album. Every track is sublime. Green Day's original fans think it's a "sell out". Green Day are not a Punk Band though, they are an excellent Rock Band. Same with Bands like Blink 182,' try hard' music fans like to call them Punk, when they are just a fun Rock Band, verging on 'Bubble-gum Rock' Skinny, white, middle-class kids think they are dangerous and living on the edge by calling 'safe and clean Bands' Punk. I was born in 1961, I know who the real Punk Bands were, I was in the mosh pits of the late 70's and early 80's. I saw Dead Kennedys in 1983 at Sands Narrabeen Hotel on Sydney's Northern Beaches. I found out decades later that they were intellectuals that were classically trained Jazz musicians. I bought "I Hate People" by The Anti-Nowhere League and saw them LIVE at The Tivoli, George St, Sydney in the mid-80's. Great Punk music, though I'm certain that they were taking the 'piss', very funny. Most of The Sex Pistol's lyrics are cheeky and funny. It was the seriously dangerous Punk Bands that I didn't like. They were violent and aggressive, plus their music was crap.
