No DLC? Nope. Got enough black "coated" blades that scratch easily and soon look like crap. Yes a knife is a tool but, I doubt anyone is using a Varatas to pry with. Kizer does DLC good. I know I'm willing to pay a bit more for it. My Drop Bear DLC blade still looks great after tearing apart some strong plastic. Why Kizer won't do this is beyond me. This knife in particular would be killer with the matte finish DLC. No shiny polished DLC please! This would be one of Batman's knives then! 😊

Yes - there’s an almost hidden insert on the show side that you can remove from the original clip side and then swap the clip. It’s a great idea and knife.
