"What else is there" is a song she made with the band royskop. I really liked her music several years ago. But She's changed quite a bit and her videos are terrifying and an abomination- my opinion. I just don't like the direction she's gone. But if you like this sound you will definitely like the song "what else is there."

To me this is perfect in every single way. It makes the watcher feel something they can't describe and then people may say this and say that, but the truth is probably that it's in the eye of the beholder and that's why it's so fucking brilliant.

Puts together and unusual array of people in the music and the lyrics, these sort of could fit but not really all very typical and then it plays with expectations/predictions and takes you on these little surprises. it’s aesthetically pleasing and not out right bizarre but has this slightly eerie element throughout.... something like that. I don’t really fully understand it either...

I just noticed, the way the people start to move in the end, they start moving like people in the red room, and then there's a shot of the fan in the ceiling and then the stuffed animal, I am quite sure the director was inspired by the TP climate and I love it!
@1chienandalou6 жыл бұрын
For sure. The lodge like walls, gaudy decor, variety of people that don’t have an explanation for being together, focus on the fan, the familiar yet eerie feel, the play with expectations, and even “doubles” with Karen watching her voice being lip-synced but singing the song from the perspective of someone else. Lynch is a big influence and it shows here.

@g.willikers1376 Жыл бұрын
I was going to post the exact same thing lol. I was thinking "If I could take one song with me as I travel through the universe after death, it would be this, and I couldn't possibly explain why because I don't know why. Maybe I'll know when I get there." And then in my mind the song became a world - something like a planet, spherical but not solid, pure energy, highly complex, in constant motion, colors moving like roller coaster cars, dipping and spinning and curving and flashes of smiles and joy and hair flying like angel wings or shirts on a clothesline - into which I was seamlessly absorbed, eternally, and the only sound was this song, echoing through the universe like music at a roller rink, tumbling and rumbling and resonating and comforting and warm - it was everything - and the voices were everyone's - coming from our minds - and it made me want to cry to know that after so much doubt, in the end I'd found my place. It made me so happy to see your comment. Honestly. It made it feel real. How strange. I'm still smiling and feeling wind in my hair :)

@@g.willikers1376 Wow that's quite amazing! That sounds like a truly beautiful experience.
