***** Yes and no... We do gesture but it's unconscious, seeing all that "explained" and analyzed is kind of strange (and funny!). Plus, it's the nonchalance, non the gesture itself that makes the difference... I believe that seeing a brit or an american trying to do that, would probably be hilarious!

***** Well, nobody here considers it impolite... And to be honest I don't get why anybody should...

***** These are all informal gestures of course... I did't think it was necessary to say but on second thought, it is obvious for me, not for you...

***** Cioè fammi capire, sei italiano e non l'avevo capito fino ad ora? Comunque non ho capito che intendevi per "offending others", mica ti ho offeso.. o almeno se l'ho fatto non era volontario...

If you want to learn more check the Bruno Munari's (famous designer and artist) "Supplement to Italian dictionary". I'm sure you guys took inspiration from it for this vid ;)

Ha amazing, 90% of these are also used in Argentina... with the same meaning.

It's missing the gesture for "delizioso" or "buono" when talking about food. Also, there are gestures used that just happen throughout conversations that look similar to "what do you want?".

Larisa Rusu I'm not sure. I tried looking it up when I posted the comment and couldn't find anything. It could have been made specifically for this video.

I live In France and hand gestures are part of thé culture. Thé vidéo does help to understand but not to be copied unless it does come naturally after living In thé country for a longgggg while thén usually you start making those hand gestures yourself.
