This is not an italo disco song in fact(though concieved as a homage to this genre). It's closer to new romantic, with flavour of Hi-NRG; but then again, some artists dubbed as italo dabbled in this second style(e.g. Miko Mission, Ken Laszlo or even Giorgio Moroder himself- "I feel love" is sometimes cited as the beginning of Hi-NRG).
