But they have already implied that he did horrific things back in the war in this movie. You can't be a soldier and not just follow orders. It doesn't make any sense why he would choose to be an agent and a soldier like Millar's Captain America while also having the perfect idealism of Kirby's Captain America.

Falcon, Black Widow, and Hawkeye are what comic book nerds call a Badass Normal. They're more badass because they mix it up with superpowered villains despite not having superpowers themselves.

8 yrs later and this movie has never gotten old..only gets better with time and if it's not my favorite mcu movie then it's my second favorite very close to Iron Man but at times id say it is my favorite mcu movie...the first Captain America was and still is dope AF imo ..it's probably my 4th or 5th favorite mcu movie and it did a perfect job bringing cap to the screen with every actor nailing their role especially Chris Evans(who at first i was surprised they chose him because it's a more serious role but mainly cuz he already played Human Torch) who by the end of the first movie was to Cap what RDJ was to Iron Man after the first Iron Man and Hugo Weaving who i love in everything was perfect as Red Skull...everyone else was damn near flawless as well from the howling commandos to Hayley Atwell to Tommy Lee Jones,Stanley Tucci,Dominic Cooper and Sebastian Stan but this movie man back in early 2014 i was a little worried about the MCU after IM3 and The Dark World(not bad movies at all but not up to their predecessors or the first Avengers either) but this movie restored my faith completely (and Guardians kept it going later in the year) ... everything from the actors to the story to the villain(Sebastian Stan is such as bad ass as Winter Soldier) and especially the Action is still mind blowing to me...i mean from that first mission on the ship when they mention Batroc(such a cool easter egg) it took ahold of me and never let go..shit was so badass him and cap going at it.. thinking back to the video u guys did back in 2012 asking what Nick Fury does so i know Korey was happy with Sam Jackson in this one..the humor was on point(i can't agree more with u guys on the MCU humor and that was even back in 2014 but it just got worse from there and as much as I love the MCU the humor and the overuse of cg is probably my biggest issues and like Martin said i been thinking the same thing since The Dark World like how can I take this seriously if u guys aren't taking it seriously, some humor is fine but it's too much especially nowadays..but this movie is pretty much flawless and is one of the few comic book movies that really is much more than just a comic book movie..it's one of the best spy thrillers I've ever seen and one of my all time favorite movies period...everyone and everything is great and i really have no complaints...it's super high full price/damn near better than sex for me...i hope one day the MCU can go back to more grounded films like this..i love the MCU but the more grounded movies from them are my favorites no doubt..i agree with Korey's criticisms about them just.blowing shit up and more so just the fact that The Falcon is literally just wearing jeans with wings ..i could understand if he had a bunch of armor on as well but yea it falls into the same realm of Hawkeye and Black Widow..i really have to employ suspension of disbelief for that

​@@rickyclover9393being fair MOST super heroes are 'Mary sue' types. It's why I tend to get behind not super human ones with backgrounds that explain their skills. Aka Iron Man (science nerd whos self destructive,has money, and a conscience) Punisher (depending on what version Special Forces or Marine Commando with nothing to lose), Black Widow (ex KGB/FSB killer/spy who defects to the west), Batman (see Iron Man but has parent issues due to parent murder... but probably should review his no kill rule), Jack Bauer (had to put him in lol)

This was fucking awesome! Not only is it the best Captain American movie I've seen, it's one of the best Marvel films out there! Hell it's one of the best movies I've seen period. I put it up on the same level as Spider-Man 2 and X-Men 2. It works as both a political thriller and an action film. The action was great, the characters were good. The plot was deep and interesting, and revealed a lot, plus some cool Easter eggs. The fights were some of the best I've seen outside of a martial arts film. It had plenty of surprises and I was shocked by a lot of them, especially the ending. Full fucking price! I can't wait for "Civil War" next year!

Before this i would of said The Wolverine was the best movie ive seen all year but then i saw this one and i found it the best one to date i say being someone who has seen all the marvel film it adds more to all of them also you do not need to see all of them you d only need to see Avengers you would not need to see Captain America First Avenger because this movie explains the origin i was a little bugged because i ve watched Ultimate Avengers,Captain America First Avenger ,Avenger s Earth Mightiest Hero. Captain America: Winter Soldier turns 10 I'll be honest; this isn't one of my favorite MCU movies in the collection I thought the first movie was better in many respects making it feel like a classic swashbuckler With this the filmmakers attempt to do many throwbacks to those classic 1970s conspiracy/spy thrillers with political intrigue There's also shades of grey between heroism as well as villainy, mistaking freedom for fear, honor vs patriotism, there's only so much of being a Boy Scout can get you, building a better world means sometimes tearing down the old one, the current state of United States surveillance watching all of our activities, wiretapping, espionage, moles infiltrating our superpowers, and stopping global terrorism before it starts It looked a bit cheap in spots and the winter soldier himself should’ve been in the movie more His name is in the title and there should be more of a rivalry between him and Steve It's also a very dreary and overcast looking entry out of all the movies Plus certain plot points don't make any sense continuity wise from previous films so that might bother a few fans whom are knee deep in the established universe The mid credits scene with Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver was the best part though setting up 'Age of Ultron' And I should be thankful that Joe Russo along with his brother Anthony would collaborate to direct 'Civil War' as well as 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Endgame' delivering the best entries in this entire series I'll give them credit they made this one more grounded as a standalone entry while being relevant But again it's not one of my favorite MCU entries

Actually the website that owned Spill decided to drop the site as well as Spill itself. That's why you don't see Korey with the rest of the team anymore. He has a kickstarter to bring it back though.
