Man, you’re not joking, your videos are really deep. This is not only tutorial on Volca Modular, but on modular in general. My favourite part was explaining the S/H in bitwig :) I struggle tu use „raw” Volca Modular musically though… I mainly use it as a chaos generator, paired with Valhalla SuperMassive or Output Portal.

The Sequenzer in my modular only works if it is synchronised to Volca drums. Any Idea why?

There is a small mistake @ around 3.28min! Source goes first into Left Dual-LPG. And then it goes into the attack / Reaalease unit. Really nice video never the less..

I'm loving this so far, you've made an excellent walkthrough! I do have one concern at the moment, though: Whenever I touch the end of a patch cable, I don't hear anything like I do in the video (29:17 for example), and I've seen this work in other videos as well and I understand why it does so. Maybe it seems silly, but I want this ability available to me! I'd really like to know what I might be overlooking. Thank you for the video, at any rate. I've been playing with my volca non-stop since I got it, and this is solidifying my understanding of the instrument. Fun times.

I've got my Modular hooked up to my Beatstep Pro and every time I boot them up I have to calibrate the pitch again or it tracks in reverse. Has anyone encountered this problem and knows of a solution to it?

Volca modular doesn't have midi. You can connect the gate and pitch outputs to the volca modular using a 3.5 mm stereo y-cable.
