That second goal was such a needless one. There just seemed to be no adaptability in the defence there. Gru hasn’t been his strongest in the preseasons but what point is a defence if they’re not going to defend their goaltender when he needs the back up.

Hey man new to hockey. Any way you could explain free agency and the off-season? Stuff like that?

I have a couple 101 videos in the works to do just that! In the meantime tho, free agency happens every off-season starting generally a week or so after the draft. At that point all eligible players on expiring contracts with no new contract signed for the next year can sign with new teams. Players aren't supposed to do pre-negotiations but it happens constantly. Also if a player doesn't sign to a new team they just stay a free agent and can sign at any point during the season.

Look I wanna be honest here. When the team signed Burakovsky I was super pumped. I seen what he did with the Capitals, and the Avalanche.. But ever since he's been in Seattle 100% DUD. He's supposed to carry the puck in on the power play for example. EVERY SINGLE TIME it seems like he said some half baked stick handle then loses the puck and out it goes. Or he just flat out doesn't shoot at all. He's worthless on the PP. And WHY IS TOLVANEN NOT OUT ON THE PP? He should be out there on the other unit opposite of McCann. Those 2 guys provided the One-Time threat. Bench Burakovsky from the PP and put Tolvanen out. At least when we had Wennberg he could enter the offensive zone on the power play. Burakovsky sure can't do that. He's a 5 million dollar DUD

He was the leading scorer the first season until his mid season injury but yeah since then he hasn't had a consistent impact at the very least. Hopefully if he can stay healthy he gets back to that but we'll see.
