I’m the founder of Project Konstantin, a soldier casevac charity, and I absolutely love everything that you and the Gen have discussed and I completely agree. Insightful? Are you insane? Just look at his record over the course of this war. Look at what he's been saying. Every single one of his predictions from the off, has been completely and utterly wrong Hodges is a warmonger, whose desire for war will drag us all into World War Three and mindlessly get us all killed. His own military experience was not very impressive. Hodges was beaten by a bunch of illiterate goat herders, armed with little more than rusty AK47s and WWII era rifles. Yet rather astonishingly, despite being beaten by the Afghans, he now thinks he has the correct strategy to beat the Russians. The man's a complete idiot.

@@AN-wp6fn It is thanks to fools like you repeating Kremlin’s lying propaganda that these false tenets gain traction. Russia joining NATO under Putin? Give your head a shake. NATO attacking Russia? NATO is a defensive alliance that accepts aspiring new members as it sees fit; no country is ever pressured or coerced to join. On the contrary - there’s a stringent set of conditions that must be met and a unanimous agreement of member states that must be achieved prior to a new country joining. NATO expansion is NOT the reason for Russia attacking Ukraine - it is the imperialism that is in Russia’s DNA, and a hybrid (and now open) warfare against ALL former Soviet republics that is its modus operandi. What did Russia say or do in response to Finland and Sweden joining NATO? Sweet nothing. That proves beyond doubt that NATO has nothing to do with the reasons for Putin’s war.

Unfortunately for Ukraine this is being done very slowly.

I've been saying this for a while. I have to completely agree with you. This is a win win win for the US. They get to test their weapons against a modern military for the first time since world war 2. Not only that, its against their biggest classic rival. Its boosting American economy with more jobs pouring into the military industrial complex. And getting rid of a lot of their old stockpiles that they would have had to pay to get rid of. Now they're getting dropped on their rival basically for free. And to top all this off. This is destroying Russia's economy, military, and general world standing. Without costing American lives. Unfortunately that means they're willing to sacrifice Ukrainian ones to do it

@@Whistlewalk No. Slower than some would want, but there has been concern about Putin and his red button. If you look carefully you can see that Russia is rapidly using up the equipment left to it by the Soviet Union and they can't replace it at anywhere close to their loss rate. And Russia is spending their money on stuff that is just getting blown up. That leaves them with nothing to build up their county. Russia is being bled dry. Perhaps it could have been done faster, but there was a concern. There's another factor which is largely unrecognized. The world is switching from ICEVs to EVs. Last year 18% of new car purchases were EVs, it's projected that 25% will be this year. We've now entered the phase where technology transitions happen rapidly. The oil for fuel industry is going to collapse. Russia has very little to sell to the outside world once the market doesn't want its oil. Russia is wasting its capital and will be losing its major income source.

Great conversation. I have a different perspective. By dragging this out, Russia is slowly but surely being drained of treaure and men. A quick victory may have left Russia largely intact.. Not only caualties but those men that are its future who have left and are still leaving. Economically, its key infrastructure is deteririating, and the longer the fight goe on it is like the frog, slowly being boiled....it is sad for the people of Ukraine but as this carries on Russia becomes less of a threat to Nato. Also, this is giving Nato countries time and political will to re-arm. Day by day, the gap between NATO capability and Russian capability grows. A final benefit of the drawn-out war is the addition of new NATO members who may have joined if the war ended a year or so ago. A Trump win is the next wild card...
